It's difficult to describe the feeling that I had when I first saw the Robot and the Heart floating in the desert, peacefully united under the rising red sun. Hopefully my recording captured some magic from the Playa for you, which felt more like Mars than Earth. My set was from 8-10am on Wednesday morning, big thanks to Robot Heart for inviting me to play and much love to the astronauts, gypsies and spirit animals that joined me on the trip ....... it was an amazing and unforgettable experience <3

As the summer faded, a fog set in that made it difficult to see. Hoj meandered and he drifted, trying to find the way. After roaming awhile, he saw something shiny on another road, and he went to explore. Eventually he found his way back - and when he did the fog had lifted and the path was clear. Getting sidetracked was exactly what he needed to find his way.

The sunrise on Sunday morning after The Burn was perhaps the coldest I'd experienced at Burning Man.   By the time I went on at 7am only the slightest hint of the sun's warmth began to grace us, but the effect was immediate.  My instincts steered me into an uplifting, psychedelic house sound and the vibe was as loose and festive as one could imagine.  Playing out there in Deep Playa on the Robot Heart bus never fails to be one of the most unique DJ experiences I've known.

Young Leipzig talent Kolja Gerstenberg makes his debut on Monologues with three raw cuts following releases on Quintessentials, SUOL and Smile For A While (including a remix by Move D), plus a remix for Cassius. 'Erdball' is a chugging, stomping slice of woozy house, 'Muffsound' sees his background as a drummer shine through in its choice of breakbeats with an array of sampled textures creating the vibe, while 'Herber 660' flips between the deepest house and slo-mo trap-tinged beats. Inside Out is a brand new series that invites DJs and producers to blur the boundaries between traditional artist albums and mix compilations. Coming from https://soundcloud.com/ausmusic head and DJ-Kicks curator https://soundcloud.com/willsaul  , the concept encourages artists to showcase their own music and or the music of those in their own individual circles. The mix will be release digitally and on CD, while a selection of the tracks will also be available on double gatefold vinyl. Each instalment will feature 100% new and unreleased music. It is a chance for artists to take sole creative charge, A&R as they see fit and then commission brand new music specifically for the cause. Depending on who is at the helm, Inside Out will take different forms: producers may wish to represent their own sound with only music they have made themselves or with close collaborators, while DJs and label heads may wish to reflect the sounds and scenes that surround them. The results will be a window into an artist’s world that works as a coherent mix, but also as a treasure trove of fresh new music that steps outside the usual lines of a dance album. The idea stems from Will Saul’s own approach in the club, which often finds him seeking out brand new and unheard music to play for the first time. That feeling of taking people into the unknown is one that reminds him of the energy and excitement of his early days as a dancer.
"I wanted to try and recreate the feeling I used to get in the 90's when you went clubbing and heard your favourite DJ play but had never heard the vast majority of the tracks he/she was playing,” explains Will. “Your mind would be constantly blown by hearing totally new music for the first time. We've pretty much lost this with the proliferation of online mixes, Shazam, early EP premieres and free streams.”
For Will’s mix he enlists an array of artists who he’s worked with over the years, many of whom have released on one of his labels in that time. These include the likes of Lone, Pearson Sound, https://soundcloud.com/move-d , Gerd, Youandewan, Martyn, Falty DL, Dauwd, Appleblim and Marquis Hawkes.
Will’s mix shows off the many facets of his own DJ sets, productions and labels over the last 15 years. It includes a Floorplan remix of tracks he’s made as Primitive Trust, and a collaboration with Komon on ‘Positive’, a perfect sci-fi house track that surges through the night on a wave of serene synth smears and cosmic melodies. The mix overall exudes a woozy warmth, and ranges from hazy late night house to absorbing passages of sparse dub via rubbery techno rollers and slippery electro. A lot is packed into the trip, making it perfectly fluid and forever on the move. At a time when music is more accessible and available than ever, a strong curatorial ear and expert insight into specific sound worlds has never been more valuable to guide us through the noise. I don't normally upload other DJs sets on my SC but I'm making an exception with this one. It's done by the incredible Murf live at Superfreq a few weeks ago. If you don't know Murf you should. He's easily my favourite DJ in the world & was resident with me at the legendary Subterrain at The End from 1995-2002. Murf is the Techno Yoda. There's nothing he doesn't know about House & techno music & is a human encyclopedia on cutting edge dance music. Murf has been very ill of late & is in hospital having various types of major surgery. He'd been in hospital for over a week when we had Superfreq & got special permission to leave hospital for 24 hour to come to play for us. The word trooper is a least we can call him. In pain, drugged up to his eyeballs on meds & pain killers, Murf arrived half way through my set to rapturous cheers & applause from the London faithful who all know what hell he's been going through. This set turned FOLD club in London upside down & is a true example of what an amazing DJ & human being this man is. I doff my cap Sir & it's an honour to be able to put this set up on my page & also to call you my friend. I love you brother. <3

Mr.C started MCing in London clubs aged 16 working with LWR radio's Ron Tom, Jasper the Vinyl Junkie & Jazzy M. Mr.C then hooked up with Colin Faver & Evil Eddie Richards to became resident rapper at the legendary Camden Palace in London. Mr.C went into the studio to record his 1st house track with Eddie Richards as Myster-E which was released in August 1987. This inspired Mr.C to become a DJ so in September 87 he took to the decks. 
Mr.C has since organised, promoted & been resident DJ at: Fantasy ('88), Base (Dungeons '89), Release (91), Harmony (92), Drop (93), Cyclone (94), Vapourspace (94 & 95), Flavour (The End 95 & 96), Subterrain (The End 95 - 2002), Superfreq (Worldwide 2002 - Present), Super Disco Freq (LA 2010 - present), Next Step Forward Festival (Sept 2018). 
Mr.C was resident DJ every weekend (Friday & Saturday nights) at the legendary RIP parties at Clink Street in London throughout 1988.
Mr.C hosted weekly radio show Future Music on Kiss 100FM in London from 1993-2002 & has presented TV shows for MTV, FH1, VIVA & BBC. To say that Mr.C is one of the most iconic DJs in the world would be an understatement.
In December 1995 Mr.C opened the legendary nightclub The End in London & then AKA bar 3 years later & was lauded as one of the best night clubs in the world. The End & AKA closed its doors for good on January 24th 2009. 1 Chapter closes & another begins. Since the closure of The End Mr.C has been running his Superfreq events globally & is just about to host his brand new London festival, Next Step Forward Festival. 
Mr.C runs & promotes Superfreq events, which celebrated being 16 years old in March 2018 & ran monthly at Mr.C's club The End until it closed down in January 2009. Superfreq functions bi-monthly in London & does regular events in Los Angeles as well as bi-monthly events in Calais France & one off events the world over.
Mr.C is founder & owner of Plink Plonk records, co-founder of End Recordings & founder & co-owner of the Superfreq label, which is now releasing music prolifically.
Mr.C has recorded under the names, Myster-E, Unity 2, Nu Jacks, Bass Bureau, The Shamen, Mantrac, Somnambulist, Animus Amour, Killer Loop, Mr.C & Tom Parris, Mr.C & 16B, Sycophant Slags, Indigo Kidz & East LA Tek.
Mr.C is best known as front man, songwriter & producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 hits including Move Any Mountain, Love Sex Intelligence, Boss Drum, Phorever People & the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. These hits were hits the world over. The Shamen album Boss Drum went double platinum in the UK & they also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1993. Richard's currently recording solo as Mr.C & is also doing collaborations as the Indigo Kidz with Affie Yusuf & with Noel Jackson as East LA Tek.
His latest album was released last year called Incidents, which is arguably his best work to date along with singles Stand Up, Shape Your Dreams & Ripple Effect all being taken from the album.
