DJ Functionist is a club and radio DJ, music producer and remixer. He is the mastermind behind the legendary daily (Mon - Fri) mixshow FM4 Unlimited.
His musical universe is defined by Funk in all modern variations. His claim is to create a unique, live musical mixture. Radio is the media for Functionist's creative output since 1992, whether as a young radio pirate or later with FM4. In Summer 2005 his brainchild the daily mixshow Unlimited is realised.

DJ-ing since 1998 I am a true Disco music fan. I love Disco and all related styles like Deep House or Funk, Soul, Boogie. But hey stay away with typical "Berlin" techno...not that I dislike Techno in general. I like it, not as much as house, but i definitely like it. However I am pretty bored with that "Berlin" sound right now. 

I work in the music industry/worked in the games industry and think of my DJ-ing as a hobby I get paid for and where I am able to play the music I love. However I would happily greet any kind of bookings and ways to somewhat professionalise it. So if you think I should spin at your party, send me a line.

Timo Maas is a storyteller. For him, it's never about back-to-back bangers or brainless hits, but 
about crafting, building, teasing and eventually pleasing. From hefty concrete funk to stripped-
back and brain-altering techno via psychedelic synths stronger than any drug, he knows exactly 
what to play and when. He has done so at every major club and festival on the planet from 
Tomorrowland to Kazantip, Creamfields to Coachella, while for 17 years during the golden years 
of Ibiza's Circoloco party at DC10 he was a regular guest, which is a testament to the fact that 
he has always stayed ahead of the times. 
Two-time Grammy Award-nominated Timo has made every shade of electronic music from 
famous remixes of Azzido Da Bass and Depeche Mode, leftfield reworks of Afro-Peruvian group 
Novalima and Indonesian all-female heavy metal band Voice of Baceprot via work with pop 
greats like Paul McCartney, Madonna and Placebo. But his pure love of techno keeps him 
coming back to his most famous sound. It's all united by his ability to craft weighty bass and 
rolling drums that lock you in. To dream up unusual breakdowns, freaky vocal treatments and 
deftly designed details that sound like nothing else. He has released on majors like Warner and 
Virgin and underground staples like Stripped Down Records, Cocoon, Mobilee, Tenampa and 
Last Night On Earth. But whatever he does and wherever he does it, Timo is always 
investigating new musical grounds.

Finn Johannsen is a DJ and writer for numerous print and web publications. He also co-runs the label Macro Recordings, used to work at the Hard Wax store, and is now acting as impresario at the clubs @palomabar and @kottimonarch.

Lumberjacks in Hell has been founded in 2010. Intimate Friends followed in 2013. For some people the difference or the need for distinction between these two is quite evident but to give you an idea. Lumberjacks is always 100% for the dance floor, inspired by the music from Chicago and Detroit which is not only reflected in the Artists we release. Intimate Friends is a headier affair. Soul, Hip Hop and House are all fair game. If you check the releases next to each other both labels have a distinct sound. And maybe a certain BPM range. This isn't saying that some of the music couldn't have appeared on either label but somehow it all makes sense to me. Widely known for his popular series 'Rare House Gems' on social media, Luke has been spreading the sound and culture of 'hard to find' house records to all corners of the virtual world.  After gaining a great deal of traction and earning his rightful title as a tastemaker, he's now appearing as a DJ across London’s wealth of clubs, sharing his collection and devoted passion for underground dance music. Having spent time working at Love Vinyl, one of London’s most critically acclaimed record stores, he is always developing his knowledge, learning from the incredibly erudite owners and their expertise In music. 

Growing up mainly as an instrumentalist and producer, Luke was encouraged by a few friends to start mixing vinyl. With an ever-growing record collection, his selective taste and love for authentic house music, made vinyl grow to be an essential part of his lifestyle. His sound is encapsulated by all things deep & soulful and lays no boundaries as to how it may evolve. Championing the slogan  ‘Make House Deep Again’ and pushing out music to the younger generation to keep the sound alive.

I love good quality music, my taste is quite eclectic, sometimes a bit dark .........
