Growing up my father always started a phone call with…”hey, did I catch you at a good or bad time?” My three older bothers and I carried this on into our daily lives without really thinking much of it.

Being a daddy’s girl it was hard moving 1,000+ miles away from my momma and dad for about 3 years moving all around the country. During those times I experienced a lot of grief and loss but also a lot of amazing memories out of those emotions this song was written.

HEY DAD

This song means so much to me because it was free styled after the passing of my grandpa and the healing of a toxic relationship. I mentally was in a state of grief and exhaustion to the point where I couldn’t feel anything.I wanted to articulate my positivity threw the beat and  my words ended up expressing the pain I couldn’t even feel. 
Allot has changed since this song and I can’t wait for you guys to finally hear it.💜
