Kardia presents Sub:Tales Chapter 1: Duckem 

The idea for this mix series came up when it was suddenly not possible to experience live music anymore. Our regular Sub:District nights couldn't take place, so we had to look for alternatives. I wanted to keep on playing music, push the scene and simply keep my focus on music, as for me, music did an essential part in giving me balance in this difficult time. 
At first I gathered the sub:district crew and we started to stream live on YouTube, which was a great opportunity to meet up and finally listen to music on good speakers and high volume. But i also do love well prepared studio mixes and wanted to connect with artists from around the world, so the idea to start a new mix series with guest mixes came up: Sub:Tales. 

The sub:tales are divided into chapters, of which each one will be framed by an intro and an outro shaped by a "guest story teller". Every guest will tell their own story which will create a surprising variety in every chapter. This variety also reflects in the musical variety of the Sub:District crew and myself: we're looking forward to be presenting mixes in the realm of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Dub, UK Garage, Jungle, 2Step, Halftime, etc. 

I'm especially excited to be starting the first chapter with one of my absolute favourite producers: @Duckem from Greece! He's been a part of the dubstep scene for a few years now and his releases on Dirty Beats Music, Locus Sound, Indigo Movement, SND SYSTM CLTR and on his own Bandcamp have continued to amaze me.
Therefore it's not surprising that his guest mix for Sub:Tales comes with a perfect combination of deep and harmonic vibes
