The Illusion of control

A song about how I came to learn to play the guitar and start to write songs. I am very sorry for the poor sound. But at the moment I can only record with my phone. That's why I have to play the song in one go. The drums are just the built-in drum accompaniment of my amplifier, which I switched on in this song after the first chords. I will buy an audio interface and try to find a DAW (free or not too expensive) - if you know a free one, you can send me a PM.
One day I will manage to get a better sound, I am sure! But for the first songs, only all live-played with the drums from my amp recorded via phone, since I cannot do more at the moment. Perhaps some like it nevertheless? I am a bit excited about pulishing my first track here...

This song is rather long. After all, it's also about a very long journey. We know that not everybody like long songs. We have an excerpt of this song in a completely different version with only guitar accompaniment. That would be the short alternative. But we would be happy if some listeners would make the complete musical journey with us and listen to the full version of the song to the end. Here we go:
