Expect carefully selected sets of heaters ranging from good disco, old soul, world tunes, boogie, deep cuts from the history of punk, tasteful house, and all types of funky junk. "Michael's mixes aim to acknowledge the groundbreaking efforts of Chicago's rich culture of dance music throughout the eras, and to pay homage to its many talented, generation-spanning DJs.  Join him as he treats the classics with respect, and helps introduce true and timeless examples to a new era of fans and dancers.  By incorporating classic songs with contemporary edits by some of today's most important producers, his work aims to explore and uncover to others the powerful roots of GOOD disco,  and to shine a light on the two-way influence among 'outside genres' such as punk, psychedelic, and world music.  The venn diagram of good taste has not as slim a sweet-spot as some might believe -- help us remind Chicago: 'Disco is not a four letter word!' "
