A wonderful song with a heartwarming hook. Jimi Tenor and Tomasz Guiddo at their best. With three delightful feel-good remixes by the shining light, Erobique, Freestyle Man and Ale Castro. Erobique, who recently had chart hits in middle Europe and was a member of International Pony with DJ Koze back in the days. He also wrote fantastic musical scores for the "Tatortreiniger" TV series (with Bjarne Mädel) and celebrated sold-out live shows all over Germany and Austria. Freestyle Man, perhaps better known as Sasse from Moodmusic, is recognized for delivering many excellent deep house gems. Ale Castro from Argentina also contributes to the top- notch remixes with a DJ-friendly house version.
Last but not least, the legendary Austrian crooner Louie Austen works his magic with his voice on "Smile," conjuring a smile on our faces.

"Where The Wild Roam" EP unveils a sublime synergy between Tomasz Guiddo and Jimi Tenor, poised to enchant listeners through a 12" vinyl release on Compost Records.

Tomasz Guiddo, a regular on Compost Records, is celebrated for his diverse musical expressions across labels such as Beats In Space, Luv Shack, Get Physical, KID, and even Ostgut Ton (Manhooker), covering genres from jazz to deep house and disco, and Jimi Tenor, the revered Finnish maestro, a genius composer described as a mixture of Gil Evans, Jimi Hendrix, and Fela Kuti, seamlessly melds their talents, crafting a sonic experience that transcends traditional genres.

A notable highlight of this EP is the contribution of the legendary Austrian crooner Louie Austen on the second track "Smile", adding a touch of elegance to the collaboration. The allure of this musical tapestry is further heightened by three exquisite remixes by Erobique, Freestyle Man, and Ale Castro.

At the core of this EP lies a narrative inspired by profound beliefs in love, freedom and happiness, coupled with the mystique of witnessing the northern lights. Through gentle melodies and nuanced arrangements, the artists guide listeners on a contemplative journey, where music becomes a vessel for exploring life's extraordinary moments. Canadian label Multi Culti founded in 2013 by Montreal's Thomas Von Party and Sydney producer Dreems, which caught our attention last year with a brilliant EP by Tel Aviv duo Red Axes, is in the process of releasing a compilation split across six EPs, divided into two themes : "Sun Gaze", which "pulls in warm, ethnically diverse tracks" from Nicola Cruz, Zongamin and Moscoman, and "Moon Faze", where "things get darker and trippier" with Dreems, LUM and Crowdpleaser. "Sun Gaze I" is already out, and today we give you a taster of "Moon Faze I" : Dreems' "Sine O The Tymes" (get the reference?) is a spooky downtempo number which somehow manages to join the dots between balearic and techno, with some live percussions, progressive acid synths and strange electronic noises all over. Inspired by b-movies, the songs are basically made from VHS audio samples worked through a sampler, with additional vintage drums and original synths and sounds.
Billy rummaged through his DVD and VHS collection to find music and dialogue cuts, whispers, atmospheres, then work them out with a sampler, add electronic vibes and finally give a proper tribute to the last days of celluloid.
“VHS memories” is not a vaporwave album though, despite the common philosophy, it is simply Disco in a Bogus style to be enjoyed in a Bogus way.

Let's call it lofi-disco with a touch of happiness. Hamburg artist trio RSS Disco, consisting of the friends Max, Natalie and Falk, have left quite an impression on the local, the national, the international scene over the last decade of their creative being or, in other words, as DJs doing their thing or the only essential thing: making the crowd dance. Besides their appearances behind the decks RSS Disco run Mireia Records, on which Natalie, Falk and Max have released their up to date two EPs, namely Lovebirds and Lunar Fling, while a bunch of edits were out as white label-releases going by the name of Very and Very 2. However, the trio, when not interrupted by a pandemic, runs selective (club) nights in their hometown, handcrafts merch and is basically involved in everything that supports the creative approach of the electronic music subculture. It's artists like RSS Disco that spread a spirit of optimism with their doing and music, so unsurprisingly the friends deliver an art:cast with a blissful tone, gently combining or moving back and forth between tracks with a disco-ish note as if the autumn apple was the sweetest watermelon painting a smile on everyone's face in times when a tear hits closest to express most people's emotions. RSS Disco certainly add a different positive vibe to one's ordinary (pandemic) day.
