We're proud to present Accidental Business, a long-term project strewn with pitfalls and disillusions nodding to the incongruous events that led to the birth of Unknown Precept. Looking back at what made our trademark for the past 8 years, this new compilation marks a turning point in our discography. Scanning out the dustiest corners of the label's bizarre roster to offer a complete look at Unknown Precept's soul and vision; it brings together 18 tracks of unreleased material and collaborations recorded by our closest friends. From slow-paced post-punk hitting hard as bricks to short-circuited noise that makes the power supply trip, not to mention our love for the grotesque and self-mockery via humorous wonky synthpunk and bad tempered body music cracking jokes at a ghost audience. This is what you get when a group of people that have no clue what they're doing get together. Into the unknown we sink, but where to find us next?

Exploring the resonant side of the Serge Resonant EQ (R*S edition for Eurorack, layering 2 live recordings, each basically using nothing but the EQ:
- Perc track was made by running a pulse from a DUSG into Input 1 and each 4th of those pulses (using a Pulse Divider) into Input 2 and playing with the 10 bands and the Feedback knob / Phase switch
- Drone track uses the normal (triangle) out for Input 1 and the Gate out from the same DUSG (running in Cycle mode as an oscillator) - again only playing with the bands and feedback.

Listen on good speakers at high volume :-)

Raw formed during the summer of 1990 in Athens, Greece when keyboardist Giannis Papaioannou and percussionist Makis Faros started composing music for imaginary waiting rooms. They combined the traditional cut-up technique of tape-loops, the industrial timbres of musique concrète with the harmonics of world music, all filtered through digital sampling and computer programming. Their first recordings generated an 8 track demo, which was freely distributed among friends and the local underground press. After 6 months of work and several sessions with guest musicians on acoustic and electric instruments, Raw self-released their first album ‘Land’ in December 1991 on Elfish Records. In 1992 they recruited the band’s sound engineer, Coti K., as a third member, both on stage and studio sessions. ‘City’ was their second album fully inspired by the mechanisms of their home town. Presenting a different electronic face of Raw, manipulating rhythms with analogue synthesizers and harsh sampling to evoke the atmosphere of Athens. ‘City’ was released on CD only by Elfish Records in 1994. ‘Fragments’ is a collection of 4 songs from ‘City’ presented on vinyl for the first time plus bonus track recorded during the “City’ sessions previously released on a compilation in 1992. All songs have been remastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. Each copy includes a double sided postcard with photos and notes.

The Standalone Series welcomes this week a seasoned DJ, Urko, (@stefan-urko) also formerly known as REDRUM. This Lille resident was active on the local techno scene for a long time and toured Belgian clubs in the early 2ks, eventually residing in the renowned "The Kiosk" in Lille. With HI-tech Procedure and his friend Eric Fetcher, they also organized a lot of gigs.
After a few years of hiatus, this historian of the northern scene returns to the decks through @moicflo and Les Charades Electroniques, and now on the web-radio ECUnderground where he manages the podcast "Drink My Soul" in the company of your host and Fik.
Very eclectic, he re-explores all styles: electronica, sci-fi techno or the rougher sounds of Birmingham.
He gives us here a rather Dark Electro and rough breaks set which brings together some classics: REGIS, TENSAL or LUKE SLATER, and more felt tracks, from his last encounters and peregrinations with ADJ, VSK, Kim COSMIK, oake or ERRORBEAUTY.
