This recording was made in the Vigeland Mausoleum in Oslo, a place known for its incredible acoustics. Here I'm playing the Kamancheh, one of the predecessors of the violin, an ancient bowed string instrument from Persia. I feel that the discovery of that instrument brought me a bit closer to some of the more subtle frequencies I’m reaching for in music. 

While I was playing there was a strong rain shower coming down on the roof of the Mausoleum, and at first I thought that would make the recording useless, but it turned out that the soft rushing of the rain in the background actually added a beautiful high frequency continuo to the music.

This song is born few years ago from the original Hawaiian forgiveness practice. It is a good mantra to make things right and forgive those who need to be forgiven in order to go forward. Especially forgiving, giving thanx and sending love to yourself.
