The motif I used for the menu theme was the same one I had composed for Saiko. Initially, I made the waking up theme (Another Dream) as an idea / experiment, but since it worked well, I also expanded it fully into a menu theme, with vertical layering the harder the difficulty is.

Another Dream

My Envy was the first track I had composed, and Till Death Do Us Part was the last chase theme I composed for the game. My Envy was particularly tricky as it had gone through 9 different iterations of varying intensities before we settled on the current style, which was a mix of three of the iterations. Till Death Do Us Part was done later, and it ended up being fairly tricky too, as the chase themes are meant to convey a different threat level depending on the enemy. Yui's (My Envy) is meant to be mid, while Saiko's (Till Death Do Us Part) is meant to be lowest. 
Her Prey ended up being my favourite chase theme to work on. It utilises Elissu's motif, but it's also very chaotic-- which meant I could pull some tricks I've always wanted to. It was meant to convey a very high energy chase-- as it was described to me, she can leap from tree to tree and throw axes at the player that instakill.

'Till Death Do Us Part

When I first saw the cutscene, I was really happy. I was told to make the first few seconds of the cutscene silent, but then make it sound bittersweet. Saiko always seemed to suffer in all the endings of this game, so seeing an ending where she was happy was heartwarming, and I wanted to make the track sound optimistic towards the end. One could say this track evolves Saiko's motif into Sayaka's motif, a happier variation, and conclusive.

I made these for the Part 9 short in imaginationclash's channel. I was given mostly free reign. In the cut I received of Part 9, the ordinary life portion of Sayaka was shorter, so I wanted to show a sort of comedic side to her constantly being nagged by her parent, until it slowly loses its happiness towards the end, and gets "tired." Contemplation was Sayaka's dad's theme, in his prison, as he is taken to a visitor. These tracks hardly played at all in the final version of the short-- having been replaced by anime tracks-- so I wanted to fully release them with the album as an extra.
