Selector Millie McKee embarks on an eclectic journey through some of her most treasured records. Based in Bristol, Millie is one of the most illuminating diggers in the city, whose keen instinct for rock, jazz, funk and lots more spellbinding genre agnostic sounds have made her a DJ of note in a town full of DJs of note. 

Her open-hearted style and unapologetic expression were first spotted by Noods Radio, where she has built a growing pool of listeners. The popularity of her radio show has granted her a very busy year DJing around festivals and parties throughout the summer.

Here's a mix of german only tracks by my friend Gero. Connected through the love for obscure german fleamarket finds we have been exchanging oddities for a couple of years now. Gero is a gentlemen enjoying his finds in silence and it was hard work getting him to record a mix. Funnily he seems to have enjoyed it a lot and promised a sequel already (which might be coming soon as I have missed to post this here mix for months - mit der Bitte um Vergebung!) . Interview:

How and when did you get into electronic music? 

I got into electronic music at an early age because of my brother Johan & Sister Jenny. Trough the years i have gone trough the most electronic genres. As long as it`s good music i don`t care about genre :)

Which musical moments have been espescially memorable to you? 

It`s must be the first early morning i started producing , December 2012. Still remember it very clear that i know i was hooked :) Since then it`s been a daily routine.

Which plans do you have for the future?

My plan is to improve myself ,my sound and my knowledge of music and other stuff in general. I always compete against myself and i always want to improve me as a person and my music.

If you could choose to play at any venue in the world, which place would it be?
 
I see myself as 90 % Producer and / 10 % DJ :) Im still in the early stages of my DJ career i think so ask me again in a year or two i might have an answer :) . I think i need to DJ to improve me as a producer so i will combine the two and see what i can make of it :). To me music is an essential thing , and to be able to make music brings me a lot of joy and makes me feel good :)
