Starting off the compilation with pure glamour, is the gorgeous ’Kissing’ by no other than Bliss. Keeping the spirit is the highly successful Jacob Gurevitsch and his hit single ’Lovers In Paris’ that has left more than 35 million breathless on YouTube.

Boom Clap Bachelors makes one lucid dream while being awake with their tune ‘Tiden Flyver’ – FYI Kendrick Lamar has sampled it... Adjusting the tempo is Bjarno’s – ‘Factor 30’. Keeping the upbeat energy is Be Svendsen’s wonderful dance track ‘Andromeda’.

Na na na na ‘The Sound Of Swing’ by Kenneth Bager himself is imprinting yet another mark for Music For Dream’s 20-year history. From the label boss, it goes to Hess Is More’s – ‘Yes Boss’.

‘Melankoli’ by Lulu Rouge is walking on the stairway to dub-heaven. Maybe they’re supposed to ‘Walk with the Dreamers’ and chill out just like Ambala and Laid Back.

To make an end of this quality compilation is the pop-darling Aura with ‘I Will Love You Monday’ and the hyper-pop-duo Perfect Plush with ‘Somebody Knows’. Oh... and to actually round the compilation off is Doctr leaving one dancing to ‘Tropique’.

The album is a diverse of balearic wonders for the floors, reflected in the single run. First up, ‘Contigo’, the vibes is classic Balearic, conjuring that mystical languor of shadeless summer days. A coasting groove surrenders itself to breathy vocals -- whispers in the air that give shape to the pleasantries, in rises and falls, hushes and hooks. “Contigo,” they say -- “with you.”

Second up, guested by Rheinzand’s Charlotte Caluwaerts on the mic, ‘Happy Sunny Day’ sports that effortless disco twinkle. Perfect for kick-starting the summer.

Third up, a bit more fire and guts than what we usually hear from the duo, a bit of that pasodoble temperament in the mix perhaps. Put away the easy smiles and straighten your back for this one.

Shelley Short’s ‘Coo Coo Bird’ remixed by Rødsten & Jesper Rummenigge is one of the compilation’s up-tempo tunes. Kenneth makes you sway right into ‘Rain’ by Cantoma – that might seem like an unpleasant thing... it’s really not!

‘Drømmen’ by the deceased extraordinary percussionist Jacob Andersen aka. Bongo Entp. is also included delivering splendid percussion as always, and a huge sounding brass section.

Just like Vol 1. earlier this year, it’s a compilation filled to the rim with catchy blessings, making sure that you can withhold from the winter to coming.

Noticeable amongst this compilation’s 19 blessings is the opener ‘Aviator’ by the inventive, percussion- based ensemble Sun Creatures consisting of the two musicians Arto Eriksen and Fridolin Nordsø. A sexy jazzy single that could have come out of a stripped-down Love Unlimited Orchestra tune. Another addition is Brit- ish-Chinese DJ and producer Ken Fan that delivers a slice of surging euphoria with ‘Desire’. It’s an operatic journey of blissful pads and majestic piano rises, sus- tained by dynamic drum work. Furthermore, it’s the first single from Ken Fan’s forthcoming project with MFD.

Label-boss Kenneth Bager, the Turkish islandman and Jez Phunk has gotten together and created the won- der ‘Lost’, an exclusive for this compilation. ‘Lost’ is a ra- ther up-tempo chill-out tune with a catchy bassline, chords, shouting tales and a violin solo. DJ Disse’s iconic track ‘Taxi to War’ has been remixed by new- comers Subnesia so “la la lay” yourself through your day.

CHAIRNOGOODFORBACK is featured with their single ‘High Mountains Wild Rivers’. The duo says that they wanted to reflect the stream of consciousness and the idea of being able to comprehend and overcome sit- uations in life through common sense.

Finishing off Copenhagen 2022 Vol. 2 is Venezuelan Vi- nicio Adames who’s won several awards for his sound- tracks on Venezuelan movies. This time he’s featured with a church like ‘Ocre’.
