Like a sweet kiss from the universe, mystical and magical, the lyrics came to Charlotte Caluwaerts in a daydream. The arrangement channels the golden disco of the 70s with a tinge of early 80s bounciness, while Reinhard Vanbergen's mixing and production alongside Mo Becha his low vocal touches position us squarely in the modern age. This is Rheinzand’s signature sound, something they call retro futurism. But really there’s no need for labels—the sound speaks for itself purely and freely, just the way it was born.

Rheinzand - Facciamo L'Amore - s0608

This year the Tour De France Grand Départ is in Copenhagen. The route is very close to Music For Dreams HQ, therefore we decided to put out a little EP to celebrate this event.

We asked a few MFD artists to do cover versions of electronic pioneers Kraftwerk from their incredible Tour De France Soundtracks album which was released in 2003.
Charlotte & Reinhard (from Rheinzand) have done a version of Vitamin.
Danish Duo Subnesia have done a modern funky take on the 1983 classic title track with Truck D on vocals.

The Swan & The Lake featuring Rosebud chose Aéro Dynamik for their version.
We think its a nice homage to the original and also a fantastic cover artwork by MSB Creations to finish off the release.
