SIN PIE is the debut album from multi-hyphenate artist IAMGRÜV. Emotionally raw like a "diary of demos", SIN PIE is a deep dive into our doubts, demons, and desires written over eclectic, yet conscious compositions that were all produced, mixed and mastered by IAMGRÜV. Though the mood is mindful and sometimes melancholy, the music in SIN PIE is motivational as it scores the struggles of self-discipline and self-love. Incorporating multiple instruments, ideas and identities, IAMGRÜV masterfully mixed a myriad of ingredients to make SIN PIE a deliciously cohesive project. The creative process was clearly a therapy session for IAMGRÜV, but SIN PIE delivers like a sermon as the 19-song album opens and closes in prayer-like poetry while exploring hard concepts like addiction, suicidal ideations, and more.

Ces quatre chansons inspirées des grottes de Barabar s’inscrivent dans ma recherche d’une musique qui réveille la mémoire profonde. J’explore comment la voix, l’écho et les harmoniques peuvent avoir des effets bénéfiques, presque comme un soin, en reliant le corps et l’espace. Mon travail s’ancre dans ce que j’appelle le réseau géo-fractal : une cartographie poétique et sonore des lieux de résonance du monde, où chaque site devient un instrument vivant. À travers cette démarche, je cherche à créer une musique kairophonique — à la fois scientifique et sensible — qui relie la matière, la mémoire et l’humanité dans un même souffle.

These four songs, inspired by the Barabar caves, are part of my search for a music that awakens deep memory. I explore how the voice, echo, and harmonics can have beneficial effects, almost like a form of care, linking body and space. My work is rooted in what I call the geo-fractal network: a poetic and sonic mapping of the world’s resonant sites, where each place becomes a living instrument. Through this approach, I aim to create kairophonic music — both scientific and sensitive — that connects matter, memory, and humanity in a single breath.

From Vestibule to Dome

Frankfurt based producer, DJ and music lover Martin Heimann presents his debut single “Salto” on Carry On 008. Remaining faithful to its name, the small label puts out another piece of limited wax every once in a long while.
 
Enrooted in the soundscapes of 80s proto house the original version of “Salto” is a thriving piece of octave liberation. Consistent changes between harmonics break up the repetitive structure, while FM pads and the 303 are performing a little duet. 

The release is ennobled by two proper remixes from Moon B (Peoples Potential Unlimited) and Jex Opolis (Good Timin’). While Moon B keeps it bubblin’ with some extra analogue funk bounce and subtle Italo dance floor energy, the B-Side is Jexi-fied with some embellishment to the cords, change in the bassline and a nice 808 snap. On top Mr. Opolis adds some mysterious but cheesy vocals that match perfect with the moody 80s orchestral stabs.

Eclectic Journeys aka Silas Wager, alias set up for Balearic and Leftfield edits. takes you on the fantastic music journey with an eclectic selection that fits into the Balearic / Leftfield category. These categories aren’t limited to a single genre, it’s often more about the feel of a song, it’s production, or how it’s different from the norm. So you might hear every genre under the sun from Eclectic Journeys, from Ambient to Zouk and everything in between.

Eclectic Journeys aka Silas Wager, who grew up in north London, and found himself immersed in the extensive music scenes, starting with Rare Groove parties in the mid 80's that often shared a room with Dj's playing acid house music, Hedonism was one such club, a small (very small) warehouse near Hanger Lane roundabout, where you would also see live jazz funk bands playing. While he loved clubs that specialized in just one genre like RIP in Clink Street that played Acid and House music all night, or Confusion, it was clubs like Shoom that took you on a real musical journey, from hearing deep hypnotic and balearic beats to suddenly hearing a song you remember from the charts in the early 80's.
