    Sam Curo - “How Could You Walk Away" 

    Sam Curo is a driven, passionate and talented songwriter with a lot to say. His recent single, "How Could You Walk Away” is a truly emotional stunner, with beautiful melodies and earnest lyrics.

    Sam’s spontaneous lyrical wit is definitely one of a kind. This single is very direct and personal, but it is by no means a gloomy ballad. On the contrary, it features awesome uplifting melodies and infectious grooves in practically equal doses.

    To me, it is always very inspiring to hear a singer share something very personal with listeners. Take me, for example. I’ve never even personally met Sam, yet the incredible sheer power of his emotional honesty and the directness of his lyrics give me a precious insights on this artist’s feelings and passion. This is how good music happens: by sharing feelings in the form of beautiful musical art!

    Even though the main concept of the song might have a melancholic twist to it, the song itself is very energetic, beautifully balancing its lyrical content in a very suitable way. There is definitely a very special soothing quality to Sam’s unique vocal delivery, which echoes the best soul and swing singers of all times.
    To top it off, the overall production quality of the song is absolutely outstanding, with a really spot-on arrangements and with some beautiful instruments that suit the mood perfectly.

    Overall, the vibe of “How Could You Walk Away” is very elegant and quite relaxing. There is a very classy atmosphere that gives this record a distinctive edge, as well as confirming Sam’s unique talent. However, there is also a more uplifting and spontaneous side to this track, thanks to a pleasant vintage atmosphere that echoes the greats of pop and R&B.

This tune was originally written for Sam’s beloved late father, but as the artists states, “it is a universal love song”.

Knee cymbals turned out to be quite useful, just as beautiful samples do.

Anyway, anything is allowed and possible, as long as it brings the desired result.

I want to have explored all styles at least once someday.

MOON SUG4R Originally started as a side project forged by Built up inspiration from lack of Social interaction that would normally be spent at music and art Gatherings.
MOON SUG4R was sort of built on it's sound rather than the trials most artist go through finding their sound which is a fun way to go about it. The song "TR4VELLER" Was Originally a Fryguy project experimenting with Jungle and future elements. Happy accidents lead to a Halftime drop that sounded out of this world and was soon taken under the new Handle MOON SUG4R. 
Most of the songs have psychedelic cosmic bass elements and usually range from (but not limited to) 80 bpm to 90 bpm.
Odd methods of recording and random sampling is a part of my process throughout all my Projects but MOON SUG4R utilizes those methods the most (if you only knew all the things I played slide guitar with?) MOON SUG4R Has a wayz to go before the peak and that's exciting to me. I hope my music brings you even more excitement!
