We worked pretty hard on this percussion and drum arrangement.
As I was putting the final touches on the mix I started liking listening to it reduced in various ways.

Here is the whole song reduced (mostly) to just the drum parts.
I left some of the synth stuff in there on this run to give it a little color.

This is a drum take, three floor tom overdubs, various trashy snare sounds both real and manufactured, some triggers, samples, and manually sequenced electronic percussion stuff I wrote on the piano roll in the daw.

I have enabled downloads on this in case you want to do something of your own on it. Slice and dice it, chop it up, use parts of it - whatever. It is fairly well on the grid and I think it is 90bpm though I am not entirely certain of that because I forgot to look before I uploaded it lol. Time signatures are weird. 9/4 and 5/4 and 4/4 alternating. If you need something removed just shoot me a message and I will mute whatever track and burn you a new mix even. That's how nice we are.

This one’s a bit leftfield in terms of its structure, mixing and the liberal use of automated delay. I love delay. 

Tried to make something a tad more relaxed and less self-conscious than usual - kind of trying to play, arrange and tweak nonchalantly...

“Calm Chaos”  the 5th track from "The Space Between Moments" is an ambient electronic journey into the space inside your own mind — the quiet stretches between life’s bigger moments where clarity and turbulence collide. Part of the album The Space Between Moments, the track explores what happens when serenity gets interrupted by the noise of the world, and how resetting your focus can turn that chaos into something manageable.

The piece opens with soft, peaceful textures, slowly disrupted by bright synth lines that try to force their way into the calm. Midway, the rhythm accelerates as tension rises and the chaos takes over. But through intention and strength, the track resolves back into a tranquil, restorative soundscape — a reminder that even in the storm, you can find your center.
