Following on from the success of their debut release from offshoot vinyl label TDR LTD @tropicaldiscorecords offshoot  Volume 2 in the series of ‘Collectors Edition 12”s is just about to land. Again this hot 12” is a limited press of 350 copies on heavyweight 180gr vinyl packed in kraft outer covers and black inners and with some seriously nice little added extras it's most definitely a collectors piece.

The EP features three brilliant cuts from Paul Johnson, Soul Central and A Touch Of Jazz from the seriously talented Dominic Balchin. D. Lynnwood’s latest from his forthcoming "Connect" EP which holds four tracks of dancefloor-friendly music blurring the lines between House, Disco and '80s Boogie sound. He’s previously released music on a number of UK labels, but recently decided to start afresh with a newer musical outlet. Armed with a studio full of synths and drum machines he set out on a new course. This EP is the result.

'Gospel Discotheque', (which features label-mate BodyMoves) is that peak-time club hit in waiting. A series of uplifting soulful gospel vocal hooks underpin the track we defy you not to sing along to. You know Munk probably from the songs he did with James Murphy, Peaches, Asia Argento or one of many other indie disco tracks he released on his former label Gomma. Gomma now is sleeping and since Mathias Munk Modica started the Toy Tonics label with his friends Manuel Kim & Moritz Butschek he hasn’t released many things under that name. Instead he has been playing keyboards, bass and drums on many tracks of other artists on the TT label. And of course has been building up the TT imprint from his new home in Berlin.
Now it’s summer and it felt right to put out a few balearic remixes reworks of Munk tracks. Beach party and daytime disco vibe. So here u get reworks of Munk’s friends Severino from Horse Meat Disco, Lauer, King DJ and Kai Alce from Detroit. Right for this summer.
