Situation have been upping their game considerably over the last year both in terms of their own releases and also via their label Situationism which has become a must visit destination for lovers of house music with a non-stop stream of great releases from the likes of Javonntte, Danny Kane and BRS as well as of course, Situation.

Their latest release see's them teaming up with the hugely talented Vanessa Jackson who has been cutting her own swathe through the house and disco world. Ground Plane Aerial is the new moniker of the hugely talented Paxton Fettel. It's a new beginning as Ground Plane Aerial looks to the future with his latest release, the brilliant Elusive Maneuvers EP, on his own @theoramarecords label. Featuring two sublime tracks fizzling with live instrumentation, it's an EP which easily stands out touching on both club house and deeper jazzier grooves.

@simonhinter has been smashing his way though the house scene over the last 18 months with some hugely well received releases on Freerange, Quintessentials, Madhouse, Nite Grooves and many more excellent labels. 

His latest release see's him back on @freerangerecords with the following his stand out  EP Tired Up from last year, which is well worth checking out. His latest release for them is the Helena EP featuring three seriously cool deep bubbling house tracks. It's another EP which will see Simon's stock rising considerably.

Shur-I-Khan returns to Lazy Days Recordings with 'Beats, Stings & Life' a killer new EP , full of infections deep house and broken beat. "Shut This Down" is a vocal-led broken banger, dedicated to the memory of the late great Phil Asher.

Singer and songwriter Anna Stubbs may be familiar to broken beat fans from her work with Brotherly, who first surfaced on Bugz In The Attic own Bitasweet label. Shur-I-Kan is no newcomer to the bruk side either, having written and released songs with a West London swing, such as "Generations", many years ago.

Elsewhere on the EP, the title track is classic SIK, pumping deep house with gorgeous piano and string arrangement, complemented by clever reprise version which builds and builds. The dark and hypnotic "Bubblin' Up" rounds off this solid EP.

Vinyl and digital drops later this week, so pre-order now on Bandcamp.
