The first in a series of remixes from Bad Colours critically acclaimed "PINK" album comes from up and coming NYC production duo musclecars. Tackling the Hip-House vibes of "Skin To Skin", musclecars pull back and flip the track's unexpected Brazilian outro into a Bossa Nova flavoured dancefloor chugger complete with plenty of funky organ, guitar, and an infectious bassline. A proper remix that's completely original and inspired.

London’s Release/Sustain (@releasesustain) imprint returns this May with the "A Says Hello" EP from Detroit’s Alton Miller, with Chaos In The CBD stepping in for the remix duties.

Detroit’s Alton Miller has been in the game for the past three decades coming up alongside luminaries Derrick May, Chez Damier and the late Frankie Knuckles and releasing material on the likes of Peacefrog, Moodymann’s Mahogany Music, Theo Parrish’ Sound Signature and Clone amongst others. Suffice to say, Miller stands as an extremely important figure in the history of authentic, soul-drenched House music.

‘Cool But So…’ borrows both from the old and the new, tinged with an Acid-Jazz flare while sounding updated and fresh. Broken and shuffling rhythms are held together by cascading pads and washes. Made for the club, Alton Miller gives the drums 32 at the end for an oh-so-smooth transition out.

On his forthcoming EP for Freerange Records (@freerangerecords), Simbad (@simbad) teams up with South African vocalist Brian Temba for a soulful journey which includes three renditions. "Take My Hand" coasts easily on a late-night / early morning vibe. The lightly placed kick keeps the pulse present and allows space for Brian Temba to weave his way through the strings, creating a warm and hypnotic glow. Flips on the EP include a floor-warming remix from label-boss Jimpster (@jimpster) as well as club-ready edit / dub from Simbad himself. French producer, instrumentalist and DJ, @neue-grafik, has been building a strong rep for himself over the past few years, releasing records previously on labels such as Rhythm Section, 22a and Wolf Music. His sound is a hybrid of jazz, house, broken beat and hip hop, all with his unique geographical flavours of African ethnicity, Parisian roots and a love for London thrown into the mix. 
Dedicated to his love of the NYC area of 'Bedford-Stuyvesant' this is a brilliant slice of deep house, backed with that jazzy swing and indulgent chords that we love. The production is so warm & inviting that we keep finding ourselves pressing play on it again as soon as its over.
