Majestic Fantasies, debut album from the duo Space Ghost & Teddy Bryant, is the second release on Space Ghost’s new record label, Peace World Records. Produced by Space Ghost, with Teddy Bryant’s powerful vocals at the forefront, this new album sees the two artists effortlessly blend their shared influences from the late '80s and early '90s.

Over three years in the making, in Majestic Fantasies Space Ghost & Teddy Bryant look to the past for inspiration as they explore genres, techniques, and moods. Across the record, Bryant’s vocals shine as he demonstrates a strong ability to create memorable nostalgic hooks and catchy backing harmonies. Similarly, Ghost displays his knack for dissecting vintage production tropes and breathing life into them in a modern context.

Filled with underground, soulful gems, Majestic Fantasies draws deeply from the duo's passion for R&B, UK Street Soul, New Jack Swing, House, and G-Funk. Their 10-track LP freely blends these genres, paying homage to song writers like Teddy Riley, Jam & Lewis, Carl McIntosh, and DeVante Swing. On the album you’ll find tracks like “Some Things Last Forever” which explore New Jack Swing drum patterns and vocal hooks. Additionally the record holds dancefloor-ready House tracks including “Majestic Fantasies”’ and “Unconditional” which sit side by side with heartfelt ballads such as “Cheer Me Up,” and “Ultimate Love.”

Although the two have never met in person, Space Ghost and Teddy Bryant still find a way to connect through their music. Throughout the album, they demonstrate a mutual understanding of the sound they like to produce together: tasteful and playful love songs that feel positive and optimistic, bringing classic songwriting styles from the past into the modern music landscape.

DC Promo Tracks: Mori Ra "No Bikini Girls" (Edit)

Damián Botigué, aka Karmasound, is a Buenos Aires-born, Galicia-raised, and Barcelona-based producer blending South American rhythms with jazz, funk, broken beat, and soul. A self-taught musician and vinyl collector, he’s carved a distinctive path in the leftfield electronic scene.

His acclaimed debut EP Probabilidades (Phuture Shock Musik, 2018) introduced a warm, percussive sound rooted in candombe, hip-hop, and fusion. Follow-ups like Can See Thru You and La Búsqueda expanded his palette-fusing analog instrumentation with electronic textures and latin identity.

Beyond solo work, Karmasound collaborates across borders-appearing on compilations like Outlines V.A., releasing Un Nuevo Amanecer with Pedro Ricardo, and remixing with the likes of FootNote and Mabreezee. He’s also a regular on Breixo Martinez's Canela En Surco radio, known for eclectic, soulful mixes.

Karmasound’s music is rich, emotional, and groove-driven-a heartfelt bridge between heritage and innovation on today’s global dancefloor.

Recorded in isolation by Yusuf Ahmed & Munir Hossn, "Senhora Vida" is a joyous homage to Iemanja through the lens of Afro Brazilian culture.

Brazilian producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Munir Hossn, has collaborated, produced and shared projects with artists as Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Quincy Jones e The Global Gumbo All Stars feat. Alfredo Rodriguez, Concha Buika, Hermeto Pascoal, Roberto Fonseca, and Mayra Andrade.

An Anglo-Italian-Pakistani drummer and producer raised and based in London, Yusuf is an active musician in a wide variety of genres in the thriving London scene. This single marks the ﬁrst release representing one of his many inﬂuences which make up the blueprint of his musical aesthetic.

The song also features members of London-based lusophone jazz ensemble Caravela, with Joseph Costi on keyboards, Telmo Sousa on guitar and Jansen Santana on percussion.

"Senhora Vida" will see a digital release on June 27 via Yusuf's own self-titled imprint.
