Hard to believe it’s been almost 100 shows since I started it about 13 years ago on a loose monthly schedule. Great music just keeps pouring every month.

LAZY DAYS — Show #99 (Hosted by Fred Everything)

Australian-based producer, DJ, and musician Ed Temple creates musical musings inspired by 'post-disco' something, something.

An artist with a love for vintage synthesizers, spring reverb, live musicians and classic drum machines, he is driven by a lifelong pursuit: to create music that moves the body and touches the soul.

Temple has warmed up for countless underground A-list artists touring Australia, including Rick Wilhite, Luke Una, Osunlade, Trus’me, Rahaan, Alkalino, Hidden Spheres, and Harvey Sutherland among others. He has also left his mark on numerous festivals and nightclubs across the country.

Ed Temple performs his original music with an 8-piece band, called TEMPLE MAGIC ORCHESTRA (yes this is a nod to those Japanese pioneers). This ensemble delivers live house music with only drum machines for backing tracks, featuring a string trio, a full horn section, live percussion, keys and dubdy FX filling out the rest. It’s something to behold and is a super fun experience to say the least.

And if you've yet to witness Ed Temple DJ, brace yourself for a journey. He effortlessly shifts gears, exploring musical landscapes blending disco, afro, jazz, techno, boogie, and rare house cuts. On the dance floor Ed Temple evokes an infectious connection with the dancers. Where he is not the focus, the music is, it's a place where love, togetherness and the sharing of musical vibrations are the only intentions.

Future Classics & Forgotten Treasures — Selections for the Adventurous Music Listener (Founded in 2007 by Lexis)

1990年よりギターを始め、メタルバンドを結成。新宿アンティノック、高円寺20000V等に出演する。
その後クラブカルチャーの影響を受けテクノユニットをスタートし、新宿CLUB ACID TOKYO、恵比須みるく等でDJイベントを開催。
1998年に渡米し、CBGBにてニューヨーク初ライブを行う。この演奏がCBGBオーナーの故・Hilly Krystal氏の目に留まり、CBGB RECORDより1stアルバムをリリース。SPIRAL、Mercury Lounge、Knitting Factory等、ニューヨークの数々の有名クラブで精力的に活動、また The Bowery Ballroom では Organic Grooves と競演した。
2001年9月11日の同時多発テロによる世界貿易センタービル崩壊を目の当たりにし、精神状態が不安定になりユニットを脱退。
友人に誘われた David Mancuso のパーティー "THE LOFT" に触発され、以後 DEEP HOUSE のDJとして活動を始める。2002年、ロウワーマンハッタンの 169 BAR にて初DJの後、Orchard Bar、TIASAS等でパーティーを開催。ブロンクスに位置する Tosca Cafe や G-Bar のレジデントDJとなる。
Long Island City のロフトスペースにレコーディングスタジオを構え、楽曲制作を再開し "JOY RIDE" を発表。同時にリミックスワークも行い、オーストラリア人歌手JOYの楽曲のリミックスワークに参加する。ロフトスペースでは常時さまざまなアーティストを招き、DEEP HOUSEパーティーを開催した。
2012年に日本へ帰国後、都内でのDJ活動を開始。渋谷KOARA、吉祥寺Bar Cheeky等で活動し、自身のパーティー "OPEN UNDERGROUND" を不定期に開催。2013年、コンテンポラリーダンサー・北川ななみの舞台音楽 "20 MINUTES" を制作し、横浜のアートギャラリーにて発表。 
2016年から八王子シェルターにて(AOXOMOXOA)偶数月第4金曜日開催を開催していたが2019年2月からDJ陣を刷新し名称を(∈∋)とし新パーティーを始動。
コンピューターを基本とした曲作りに限界を感じ、MPCで打ち込みを始め曲作りに没頭中。
