My version/arrangement of this beautiful piece by Patrick Doyle. I thought this piece had great potential to be a very soft, slow, melodramatic piano solo. I also made this into a slightly extended version because I wanted more of the main motif. So here's my soft piano version of "Forgive Me" from the original Thor soundtrack.

This track is an experiment in the Star Wars universe and its composer, John Williams. The goal for this piece was to play with a new kind of Star Wars sound and research different ways of merging genres and styles. In place of traditional orchestral elements like strings, I used synthesizers designed to sound like strings. But I also wanted to ground it in a world where the "star wars" was a real thing, so using a singular real violin - which may represent how these wars have affected real individuals - was important to me.

There's also a bit of an indie music feel in the way the chords play on the piano. Plus, adding in white noise risers to separate each section is a callback to electronic music - it gives us energy to keep pursuing that "end goal" in this world.

This original composition has no official connection with Disney, LucasFilm Ltd.,  or composer John Williams. It has been published for research and demonstration purposes.

Finally got some new equipment to record the output from my keyboard directly instead of recording MIDI data and running a VST through it.

A bit of audio clipping, my fault for not adjusting the gain. Still testing and playing around.

Expect more music to come in the next few months. Finally have a set up I can work with!!

Brand new edit to share. This time it's one of my favorite songs from Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), the man with such a distinct voice. I didn't want to change too much from the original so I just sped up the tempo, restructured the song a bit more to make it dj friendly, and then added a bunch of my own synths and percussion to give it my sound.&#13;&#13;
