A NOTE ABOUT LOUDNESS

You might notice that our productions are quieter than a lot of other artists’ tracks on Soundcloud. Our productions are generally set with the peaks of the audio at their highest possible level. Same goes for the loud tracks from other artists on Soundcloud. So, why the difference in listening level? We both have our peaks maxed out however the loud tracks have all the quieter parts of the music turned up so the over-all level is quite a bit louder. But, in order to do this the depth of the range of levels is significantly reduced (sometimes referred to as dynamci range). Streaming media further distorts overly loud music, reducing quality and the potential for you to enjoy it. Our tracks are not loud and adhere to industry standard loudness levels that strike a balance between over-all loudness and maximizing "dynamic range" to provide the highest possible fidelity and prioritize your enjoyment of the music.

Eclectic! Born in ca. 2001 Sonic Ensemble is an instrumental project by Thomas Kallweit. The idea is to have instrumental music without words. Genres can differ they do have in common most of the times that different instruments concur for an expression. Sometimes comprovisal or free but mostly composed and arranged in a certain way. Some tracks here appeared on albums, others were made for a contest and more others were made for themselves.
In this case all compositions are in front which deal with several instruments. Sort of Best of here. Be warned: I also deal with lyrics and vocals. Published those tracks as thomekk, Thomas Liebe and Eiterschlangen in the past.

Mutant Waves pour out of my cerebral cortex and all places where harmony may not ever have existed and may not yet. Modular Synthesis to melt your brain.  Mathematically all music exists at all times across eternity time, so when one "creates" music one is really exploring an existing mathematical space of possibilities and threading a fabric across spacetime in the audio domain. An excursion into this possible existence space of music and sound extracts these mutant waves into your brain. We are not responsible for your brain melting into new possibilities, but we do encourage you to take a leap into the realms of the possible and explore.
