Lowbit is excited to welcome another fresh new artist to the roster, Atóm, and his stunning EP "Chimera"; The EP starts with the eponymous "Chimera" just like the mythological beast it is named after, it has several sides to it. Starting deep and building up to a fiery crescendo, only to turn into a lush and vibrant breakdown and back into a epic peak-time dance floor track.

The second track "Sphinx" has a darker vibe, keeping it a bit more stripped back focusing on individual elements, pushing melodies back and forth in the soundscape. With clever sound design and modulation, the track pushes things forward underpinned by a minimal but groovy drums.

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Emi Galvan for his first appearance. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. As one of Argentina’s most in demand DJs, Emi has travelled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain and more. A recent highlight in the Argentine’s sets has been his unofficial remix of Massive Attack’s ‘Girl I Love You.’ Released in 2010 as part of the band’s ‘Heligoland’ album, the song would go on to become one of the LP’s most recognizable tracks, racking up more than ten million plays on Spotify in the process. Emi’s version has seen considerable live play in recent months, with Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and more all airing the remix across their sets. Andrés Moris is a DJ / Producer from the province of Córdoba. He started his career at the age of 16 as a DJ, setting up his base and identity in electronic music. After several years of playing music, he shared the booth with greats from the local scene, such as Marcelo Vasami, Antrim, Berni Turletti, Matias Chilano, Jime Ferreyra, Sebastian Sellares, among others. Having the majority of Main dates, he wanted to delve further into the world of electronics and take his first steps as a self-taught producer. Today he has releases on labels such as, Meanwhile, Sudbeat, OrTwoStrangers, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, and still there's more to come.

Inspired since he was little by music in general, his sound goes from a progressive with vibes of joy to a range of genres on the mixes, going through all of them and appreciating the music of each one. At 22 years old, he is already on the way to continue doing it all his life inspired by his national and international references. Taking Guy J as the main reference, inspiration never ceases to be present.
