"Most of the
suicidal men that I work with, they're
not that their mind isn't malfunctioning.
They genuinely have a life that is no
longer worth living. They're looking at
things and objectively realizing that
there's no way out of this situation.
So, they turn to suicide. So, I know
it's kind of like a very controversial
statement, but I think that's what my
clinical practice has shown, and there's
some research to even back that up. So,
if we sort of look at what's going on
with men, we're sort of they have
nowhere to turn to. And the number one
thing that correlates with it is not
mental illness but is a sense of
thwarted belongingness. 
Basically what happens is what
causes people to kill themselves is they
try to connect with others and they get
rejected. So it's specifically a very
specific research term called thwarted
belongingness. So I try to belong to a
group and that group or multiple groups
usually will will thwart my attempts to
join the tribe to join the community.
And this is what actually correlates a
lot with suicidality."

DISFUNKLI
The franco-moroccan Dj DISFUNKLI fell in love with the heat and energy of the other side of
the decks of the Psychedelic Trance parties, and made his move, soon after he entered the
Psychedelic world in 2007, Disfunkli has become known for his powerful bass lines and
blasting groovy masterpieces tracks.
At the age of 20, he moved to Montpellier France, where he decided to study sound
engineering and music production. Right after getting his diploma, he created his first own
collective named “LIVEZONE”, that is basically around Underground music such as Techno
and Trance, this was his first step to the electronic musical world, it gave the opportunity to
invite and share the decks alongside with international artists.
LIVEZONE had a huge success on the French scene which gave him the idea to reproduce the
same concept in his native country, but this time with a different audience and with a
Moroccan touch, by creating in 2015 a new collective under the name of “WESTOON”.
WESTOON was able to highlight the Underground music movement in Morocco through the
organization of various festivals and parties in multiple cities of the kingdom.
