Plaisirs Sonores Records is thrilled to announce the release of the 'Dual EP' by dynamic producer, Kabi (AR). 

Continuing our mission to deliver captivating soundscapes that push the boundaries of electronic music, this new release will be available on all major platforms from July 28th, 2023. 

Kabi, known for his evocative soundscapes, returns with a two-track progressive house masterpiece. With previous signings on renowned labels like Replug and The Soundgarden, Kabi (AR) is no stranger to crafting tunes that echo within the soul and leave listeners yearning for more. 

The 'Dual EP' aptly commences with the title track 'Dual,' a rolling progressive house number imbued with resonant synth work and infectious melodies. The tune, like its name suggests, plays on the duality of music - its capacity to energize and soothe, making it a versatile addition to any DJ's set. 

Meanwhile, the second track, 'Spicy,' offers a darker, more intense experience. This peak time banger, loaded with hypnotic repetitive synths, is tailored for the throbbing pulse of the dancefloor. Its compelling rhythm and tantalizing progression are guaranteed to immerse listeners in an exhilarating sonic journey. 

Label founders Hicky and Kalo are already advocates for this release. They shared their experience, stating: "We've played these tracks a few times at Stereo Montreal and New York with great success. They always work so well in a club setting. The reception has been fantastic, and we can't wait for the audience at large to experience these tunes." 

'Dual EP' is a compelling testament to Kabi's musical prowess and a proud addition to Plaisirs Sonores Records' growing catalogue. A 15th release sees Eric Lune & Juan Sapia make their Proportion debut with a twin-track offering. Combining on Dmitry Molosh’s highly regarded imprint, the duo announce their “Deliverence / Tension Release” EP.

Both seasoned operators in the world of DJ performance and studio production, Eric Lune and Juan Sapia have amassed a sizeable collection of air miles and label releases in their rise to the upper echelons of the underground dance industry. Responsible for over 150 credits and a century of releases, the Eric Lune has found himself at home on some of the finest imprints including Sound Avenue, Plattenbank and a January 2024 release on the ever-impressive Balance Music. Similarly, Juan Sapia can point to a growing and illustrious portfolio that has seen a double century of credits feature on a host of blue-chip labels since a Balkan Connection debut in late 2017. Work for Clubsonica Records, Mango Alley and Paul Thomas’ UV, has subsequently propelled the Argentinean star to new heights.

The opener finds Eric Lune & Juan Sapia deliver a rhythm-fuelled powerhouse through “Deliverence”. A chest-thumping kick and shaker-driven percussive section immediately create dancefloor urgency while dreamy pads and an hypnotic motif create melodic intrigue. Evolving with wonderfully syncopated synth phrasing, the dancefloor feel continues across the track’s phases as it explodes into life at 3 minutes with a drop that brings in an uplifting new synth phrase and evolves through the breakdown. Hitting its rhythmic mark once more in the third movement, the combination of filtered phrasing adds even greater dynamism.

Continuing the groove-inspired foundation courtesy of a lavish rhythm section, “Tension Release” is another dancefloor destroyer. Quickly hitting its heights courtesy of and acid-tinged lead line that meanders its way across the near 8-minute piece, a breathless, mesmeric energy is transmitted through Eric Lune & Juan Sapia’s work. Rarely letting go of its dynamic vibrancy save for a well-placed breakdown crescendo of melodic beauty, the track drops back into its 303-inspired verve and rhythmic urgency in the latter stages.

A pair of new tracks from the combined talents across the Southern Hemisphere sees Eric Lune & Juan Sapia make a powerful statement with “Deliverence / Tension Release”.

This release is produced by unique Greek duo Ilias Katelanos and Alej Ch. During their Koh Phangan vacation, they made two great tracks for our exclusive EP.
It's impressive to see how they're mixing deep sounds and dancefloor rhythms, as they absorb the island's vibrations and transform them into something truly special.
