Abuk lands on Surrrealism with “Electrical Displacement EP”.

The young and talented Argentinian delivers 3 tracks of high voltage and great quality. SKALA and igor Bartyuk put the icing on the cake with 2 extraordinary remixes.

"Electrical Displacement" is the track that opens the storm. Like a gale, Abuk unloads all his fury and mastery from the very beginning. A dynamic and incessant rhythm accompanied by a melody that leads us towards aural pleasure and the desire to raise our arms.

"Badge" continues to administer volts to this current. The artist's skills are reflected in the combination of sounds and sensations through percussion and synthesizers. The tension and mystery are still present in this electric and electronic storm.

"Turn Off The Lights" is the final piece of Abuk's discourse. Far from ceasing in his energetic emulsion, he steps forward and accelerates the pace of each sonic beam. Creating a melancholy melody and escorted under a powerful bass drum, this is another emulsion of pure ecstasy. The storm never ends.

SKALA bursts into Surrrealism with her magnificent rendition of "Badge". The acclaimed German artist brings her special vision of creating and experiencing electronic music. A refined talent for squeezing every sound. The synthesizers roar with force to sign a cult track.

igor Bartyuk returns to the playing field where he feels comfortable. When it comes to storm and energy, igor is a headliner wherever he goes. Faithful to his sound that characterises him so much, searching through the deepest and darkest senses, he gives us a piece that puts the finishing touch to this powerful gale.

Abuk - Badge (SKALA Remix) [SURRREALISM]

Brothers Enrique and David, alias EKDK, have been busy in recent years with the launch of their label Alpha Black. A mix of producing excellent tracks in line with their characteristic sound, finding artists with exquisite music production skills and taste, as well as donating and collaborating with the Spanish Child Cancer Foundation. 

In this case EKDK has reinterpreted Odagled's "Sunday", taking it from an electronic emotional track and turning it into a dancefloor weapon. Thick beat, with a sturdy kick and groovy percussion, accompanied by vocal notes and a guitar style arp, progressing through the track until we are welcomed by a classic EKDK style melody. An ominious break leading into a dubby drop, as all elements are ever evolving and modulating. An electronic beauty remixed into a club weapon.

Towards Myself is an exploration of what has crystallised at the very bottom of Manuel Meyers soul as a producer. The track has the calm yet compelling vibe of someone who no longer has to prove himself - in other words, it’s a very personal and emotional affair. On the surface there’s the principles of organic, melodic and trance transcribed into groove, but underneath this synthesised symphonie goes much deeper and far beyond the scope of words. The Remix of Stil & Bense sprouts colourful fractals, Miyagi tickles an extra pinch of pressurised excess out of his drum computers. Finally, the title When All Bad Becomes Good gives us a broad hint of what Manuel Meyer learned from that journey to the bottom of his soul. Here the extraordinary musical and subtle arrangement meets even slightly higher readings on the boost scale.
