Endrik Schroeder is an ever emerging sound and one of the staples of modern Italo. Never missing with his production and consistently adding depth to the genre with every release, with all of this coming a mere 3 years into his production career.

Rude Audio (aka Mark Ratcliff) and Dan Wainwright, from South London and North Wales respectively, have paired their creative energies to create Psychedelic Science, an eight track dub excursion with its sights set on the feet and the head and on the home and the club.
Dan and Mark have backgrounds in electronic dance music which has in the past pricked the ears, radio shows and playlists of the likes of Don Letts, Justin Robertson and the much missed Andrew Weatherall.
They are joined on their trip by friends such as the legendary driver of Ken Kesey’s Magic Bus, counter – culture legend Ken Babbs, who at the age of 84 provides a showstopping vocal for a ten minute, psychedelic dub cover of Bowie’s ‘Heroes’.
Elsewhere Dan and Mark find the dub spirit and take it to places new: the sweet bassline led, sci fi splendour of Fire On The Mountain; El Qasr’s off kilter dynamics and bottom end rumble; Talking To The Sun’s heliocentric spaced out sounds, with the spirit of Lord Sabre finding its way in.
There’s no escaping the other influences at work here- mycological and herbal as well as musical. At the end, the pair hit the psychedelic dub motherlode with an eighteen-minute exploration of space and sound in the shape of the epic, chilled, progressive Patience Dub (A Prog Odyssey) which is the sum of the sounds and experiences of Rude Audio and Dan Wainwright, all percolating in one expansive trip.
Artist Quote - "Inspired by radio play and club support from the likes of Don Letts and - bless his cotton socks and may he RIP - Andrew Weatherall and rooted in our love of US psychedelia, especially the Dead and Jefferson Airplane, we decided to buckle down and create a massive dub lp, steeped in mycological and herbal goodness, that would appeal to the head(s) and the feet and work in clubs, back rooms and bedrooms. We were joined by Ken Kesey's right hand man on the Acid Test, Ken Babbs and psychedelic and spiritual guru, Mr Ram Dass, for part of the trip"

"Return To Forever" wholeheartedly believes that we live in an era where music taste is constantly evolving. By blending this music from the past, Return To Forever aims to capture the timeless appeal of the 80s and 90s, infusing it with modern production techniques and fresh approaches to create exciting new sounds. This fusion opens up exciting possibilities for experimentation and the evolution of electronic music, fueled by nostalgia. By bridging the gap between past and present, this label is a platform for established artists and emerging talents to showcase their creativity and contribute in the ongoing evolution of electronic music.

This 10-track compilation is the result of our strong beliefs. We start the journey guided by the cosmic synths of emerging artist Galope Messier, who perfectly captures that 80s vibe. Then label boss Miguel de Bois takes the lead with a high-energy Euro Dance Trance track. We also dive into the darker side of the 80s and 90s synthesizers with three mind-blowing EBM tracks by Arvin T, Alen Skanner, and TAPIIA. Return To Forever is all about bringing back that old-school nostalgia, and Doctr and Mundo D nailed it with their incredible italo disco tracks that are bursting with energy, guaranteed to set the dance floor on fire. And let's not forget the fast-paced side of electronic dance music, where Vitaline, Mahkina, and Umvral deliver eclectic, energetic, and powerful tracks that will keep you moving.

L.A. sensation Aldridge Brothers, known for their fun and psychedelic dj performances and for their party Better Late, join Roam Recordings with their single Open World. Like the duo, Open World can’t be pinned to a sub-genre. Open World brings together elements of synthwave, house, and disco into something entirely new and special. The single is backed by frequent roam contributors Lauer and Mijo. Lauer is up first with an old school club sound with a steady beat and epic pianos. Mijo strips down the original into a heavy driving version exemplifying the sound we are loving from Mexico right now. This week on Topshelf we're gassed to have with us UK-born, Berlin-based DJ / Producer Radondo.
 
Quickly becoming a prevalent artist within the German Capital, Radondo has become a resident and close affiliate of the revered Slow Motion Records, he has honed a versatile sound, playing regularly at the likes of Renate and HÖR Radio.
As a producer and remixer, Radondo has had a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Loose Fit Records, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files.

Merging his love for arcane soundscapes with ethereal analogue synth lines, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the scene’s greats. Tying together his Post-Punk, EBM, and New Beat influences, Radondo creates a tantalising atmosphere drenched in nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

With a superb mix for us, stacked full of italo energy and post-punk influence, we're extremely happy to bring Topshelf 089 and the ever infectious sounds of Radondo. Enjoy

We’re very happy to welcome on board Back From The Wave for the latest release on the year of our 20th anniversary. Three original cuts followed by a Jorkes remix.
Fred is not a newcomer, he started in electronic music 25 years ago. He made his debut in the early 2000s on two techno and electro French labels: Goodlife and Scandium. Both were an inspiration for us when we started Factor City in 2003.
Back From The Wave is the most personal project of Fred, exploring and combining electro, techno, italo and Ebm. As he already showed on his excellent releases for Ritmo Fatale, Mélopée, Bordello A Parigi, Nein and here again on these exciting three tracks.
The Ep comes baked with an excellent Jorkes remix. The Stuttgart based producer and Freeride Millenium co-owner has delivered excellent records and remixes this year on Permanent Vacation, Aus and Live at Robert Johnson. Now on Factor City.
