THE MAGIC MOVEMENT : ‘’The Magic Movement is excited to present the first remix EP of Noema’s new album, ONE - featuring five fantastic remixes by Kalabrese, Lauer, Mehmet Aslan, Panthera Krause, and Shubostar. Ranging from Nu-Disco, Funky Electronic Breakbeats, to Indie Dance, these tracks will surely have you dancing your way into new dimensions.
In the first track, Kalabrese brings us a magnificent re-jam adding funky keyboards, live drums and his trademark vocals on top of the original. Next, Lauer offers a hypnotic leftfield Disco tune, featuring a bubbly arpeggio synth, live drums and a catchy melody! Following this, Mehmet Aslan’s remix is filled with rhythmic textures, playful melodies, and funky electro breakbeats. Panthera Krause’s remix is an energetic dance track driven by mind-bending arpeggiators and syncopated chords. And lastly Shubostar brings her infectious and groovy “cosmic disco” sound to the funky and absurd universe created by Noema.
The original piece ONE is an “interactive performance concert” that includes original music, interactive choreography and stage design, theater, costumes, videos and remixes. Sun Ra meets Steve Reich meets Larry Levan - imagine it as a “happening” from the 70s. Over the past year and half, Noema has created an impressive cosmos: He has written and recorded the music with a small orchestra, but also created the story, texts, costumes, graphics, videos, choreography, and showed an early experimental version at Garbicz Festival 2022.
In ONE, Noema tells the story of his space explorations, in which he manifests as four Interdimensional Space Voyagers. Because humanity has lost their ability to play and connect with each other, these entities became trapped in our dimension and now put on performances to re-power their portal, so that we can all be interdimensional again!
During the performance five dancers invite up to 120 people from the audience to join the action.
As the founder of The Magic Movement, Noema is a pioneer in the electronic and downtempo scene in Europe. As co-producer and A&R he released iconic records of artists such as Xique-Xique, Carrot Green, Kermesse and discovered artists like Oceanvs Orientalis.
DJing since 1997, and being former resident DJ in the legendary Berlin Club institution Wilde Renate for a decade, Noema has been touring the world with his eclectic and stunning DJ sets just as long. His extended sets go up to 10 hours and are indeed the stuff of legends. In his studio work, he has collaborated with electronic music heavy weights like Apparat, Dj Dixon and Grammy winners Basement Jaxx.

Madloch's 3rd Avenue label warmly welcomes back Omafiets with his EP "Pessoa." The producer, originally from Argentina and now residing in the Netherlands, made his label debut on the "We Are The Future" compilation in 2022. Now, he returns with two compelling original tracks. The title track received a remix treatment from our good friend from Switzerland, Jean Caillou, who has previously released on both 3rd Avenue and Sound Avenue. The second remix for "Pessoa" was expertly crafted by Nicolás Bertoldi, who resides in the same city in Argentina where Omafiets once lived. The third remix is made by Zaleski, known for his recent standout release on Sound Avenue's inaugural 'Dimensions' LP. Additionally, the EP features the exquisite second original track "Outro Lado Da Rua," which has been remixed by Lucas Gomez (AR), who took on the role of label manager for South America Avenue in 2023.

Mr Lokomot took the audience on a remarkable sonic journey that lasted three enchanting hours. From the very first note, it was clear that this performance would be extraordinary. The evening was a masterful blend of harmonious melodies and captivating rhythms, seamlessly weaving together different musical styles and influences.

Every piece performed was a testament to Mr Lokomot's profound musical talent and creativity. The audience was enveloped in a rich tapestry of sound, each layer meticulously crafted to evoke a wide range of emotions. From the gentle, soothing passages that felt like a calm river flowing, to the powerful, dynamic crescendos that sent shivers down the spine, the experience was nothing short of magical.

The journey was not just about the music, but about how it was presented. The transitions between different sections were smooth and thoughtfully executed, making the entire performance feel like a cohesive narrative. Mr Lokomot's command over the music was evident, guiding the audience through various moods and atmospheres with precision and grace.

The tenth release see's label and Anjunadeep artist Westseven deliver his first of the year on the label alongside fellow British singer-songwriter, Angus Powell. The pair locked horns in the studio in West London at the end of the summer to create this nostalgic number.

The Club Edit see's a dreamy percussive driven energy, punchy undertones and rich chords spill over Angus' picturesque top line. The Original Edit intensifies the mood with more pace, luscious pianos, utopian synths and the incredibly insatiable vocal.

The Odyssey festival has absorbed the best of the experience of major international events and, only in 3 years, has become one of the largest thematic events in Russia with a total attendance of more than 30,000 people. The label branch of the brand now comes with their second EP which is a fantastic various artist affair featuring Nikola Melnikov & Max Sorokin, Somelee, Space Food and VICTHOR, who take care of Odyssey: Let the journey begin 002. 

Nikola Melnikov & Max Sorokin open up with the deep house of Deborah, a lush tune with melancholic chords draped over wavy drums. Somelee's I Cant No Longer Hide is another tender affair with musical synths and organic drums. It really sinks you into a heady space over the course of its majestic six minutes, with whispered vocals the icing on the cake. Space Food - Rays of Odyssey then heads off into the cosmos with a nice rolling bassline providing the basis for some superbly subtle keys and pads. Last of all, VICTHOR's Seraphim completes this most classy of trips with another gentle groove that is filled with rich melodic details and heartfelt chords. 

This is another super EP.
