Furtive's super-saturated genre-mashing set from the SEQUENCE Four Year Anniversary stream. This set zips through pointillist techno hypnotics, drum'n'bass wigglers, tongue-in-cheek pop-club deconstructions, neo-rave pedal-pushers, and cryptic ambient book-ends. One hell of a journey. 

Recorded in August 2020 during pandemic swelter, this set was played at the last event organized by SEQUENCE in an important warehouse venue formerly vital to DC's underground. While SEQUENCE and this same warehouse may have been laid to rest, the energy of the events and the memories of foggy warehouse experiences will live with us forever.

This box-set serves as proof of that achievement: Dozens of producers, DJs, label owners and companions sent us their thoughts, dedications and quotes.

In fact, Compost is known worldwide for being the pioneer of the future jazz genre. The very successful and highly acclaimed compilation-series like "Future Sounds Of Jazz", "Glücklich", "Elaste" or "Party Keller" are still timeless highlights.

For the 20 years anniversary we published a book - five years later, we put the music into focus even more again: The idea was to ask esteemed artists to reinterpret their favorite Compost tunes. So we are excited about getting both talented young artists and many of our all-time favorite producers involved in this project. Alongside the remixes and sold out vinyl label-classics, there are a few exclusive tracks in this strongly limited, hand numbered 10x12'' box. Besides yielding some iconic tracks over the years as Ivan Smagghe or as part of accomplished collaborations - Smagghe & Cross, It’s a Fine Line, RMVN, Black Strobe, to name a few, Smagghe has made a name for himself as a very fine digger and innovative selector, setting a wide spectrum of moods in venues worldwide.  For the 95th edition of TTA’s art:cast series, Ivan takes listeners far out on a trippy ride with seductive beats, industrial groove and electro genre-bending  - a ticket to a no frills warehouse rave (of your dreams) at ungodly hours.
