After a summer break and a few
 events launched in Bordeaux and Lisbon, @scenecityeu makes its return on Mutant. The concept is still the same for the platform: to showcase the local musical landscape of a few cities through the lens of local artists. This new episode is dedicated to the
 Vilnius scene. 
Together with its partner @palanga_street_radio,
 Scene city invited @quaintas who has been active in the local scene for over eight years. Currently he is a resident show host at @palanga_street_radio with his monthly show ENTR'ACTE and duo project COOL AIR. He is also a collective member of @minimal-lt
 who have run the electronic music night Minimal Mondays since 2006. In this mix, Quaint pieces together a personal perspective of the Vilnius electronic music scene, pacing through the best of its more experimental and melancholic side.

For eight years now, songwriter and producer Sebastian Lee Philipp has been steering his project Die Wilde Jagd through the field of tension between contemporary electronic music and avant-pop. Between 2015 and 2020, three studio albums were produced as documents of Philipp's rigorous musical creativity. Most recently, "Atem", a composition for Roadburn Festival, was released in 2022, documenting yet another, more experimental side of the project. On the new, eagerly awaited fourth album, all these multi-faceted worlds are brought together in an impressive way.

Sal Grosso was created around 2016, first as an idea then as a way to channel all the inspirations surrounding me - be it friends, cities, music, travels, food, or relationships. As time went by, Sal Grosso eventually grew to reflect those inspirations through two solo albums, "Lets all just go wild and put our hands in the air a bit" and "Love is Fine". On its way to a third new record - called "Istmo" and soon to be released via Colectivo Casa Amarela -, the time has come for yet another (re)collection of influences. 

Thus, this mix opens with a new Sal Grosso track which paves the way to an eclectic visitation to new and old friends, sounds and inspirations. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did mixing.

Berlin-based MINOU ORAM [LYL / Cereals / THF Radio] is a DJ and producer blending music over many decades and styles between meditative serenity and dazing temper in quest of evoking catharsis through sound. In her boundless sets, she draws upon a wealth of musical influences roaming through the abysses of abstract electronica, cosmic and tribal timbres, industrial post-disco, alienated pop,  personal field recordings, and more. 

In 2016 she founded the FEMDEX project to promote gender diversity in electronic music, since 2017 she hosts the bimestrial show SVVENIR on the French radio station LYL and in 2022 she joined CEREALS, a collaborative practice for music, art and design.
