Moon Flower is a tasteful mix of sounds from cultures around the world. I am humbled and grateful for all cultures and all traditions. I have personally grown so much because of cultural teachings the wisdom they share. 
I channeled this music with the intention of love created from the heart inspired by muse Phoenix Fireflow. 

The track is a tapestry meant to weave together and honor the beauty of all cultures this world have to offer. To embrace sensuality and flow with whatever life brings, enjoying and feeling it all.

Earlier this year Desert Dwellers released their most diverse album in the duo's long career. The Great Mystery was the first full length collaborative project just between the main founders Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, and featured a wide range of styles and aesthetics from downtempo and psychedelic dub to tribal trance to exotic house and techno flavors.

To celebrate the special release, Desert Dwellers have curated an ambitious two-part remix album with a total of 25 contributions from some of the brightest luminaries and rising talents across the underground electronic music landscape. This is the set I played at Wide Open Spaces Festival 2016 in Northern Territory, Australia.  It was a particularly fun event with a really diverse lineup of music in a stunning setting.  It was very much a festival for the local community featuring a plenty of local and indigenous music as well artists from around Australia and abroad.  Hopefully they get me back next year!

Here's my latest bass heavy creation 'Lights Out'.  I first wrote this a couple of years back while on the way to Infrasound Festival with the Opiuo Band.  It was dark and cold when we got there and there was lots of mud, but we rocked the party along with the bros Truth and Russ Liquid.  Thanks to Muti Music for kicking my arse to finish this tune properly.  It's been going off in my DJ sets since I wrote it and now everyone can get dark and dirty.  Enjoy.  Bigups!

Muti  Music = Medicine Music.
In South African English, the word "muti" is used to refer to all sorts of herbal medicine. It is derived from the Zulu/Xhosa word umuthi, meaning "tree," whose root is -thi. In Southern Africa, "muti" and cognates of umuthi are in widespread use in most indigenous African languages as well as in South African English and Afrikaans, which sometimes use "muti" as a slang word for medicine in general, or even as a term for 'good luck'.
