This set was mostly designed to be played at a full moon party on 7/20/24 that got shut down by both Federal and Local law enforcement agencies on Maui. It didn't get to see the light of day when it was intended, but it deserved to be heard, and this was a perfect place to do just that. The scene during this set was rawkus, the dance floor ignited with seductive revelry. Adorned with the drippiest attires, this group of local legends, empresses and suave gentleman sent this evening into the stratosphere. Mahalo for listening, it means a lot : )

Since the age of 14 Mat The Alien has been mixing , scratching and making mixes - beats , spanning many genres and styles but always having one thing in common - heavy beats and bass lines which appeals to a wide variety of crowds.
Growing up with his father owning a record store, led to Mat finding his love for crate digging and evolving into a beat and bass connoisseur. Mat’s Original music and Remixes are coming fast and furious , they have been featured on many T.V. shows , DVDs and webisodes . His Remixes for Nick Thayer, (Featured on Diplos Mad Decent Blog) , and also original music have received positive feedback and plays from some of the industry’s biggest names . Muti  Music = Medicine Music.
In South African English, the word "muti" is used to refer to all sorts of herbal medicine. It is derived from the Zulu/Xhosa word umuthi, meaning "tree," whose root is -thi. In Southern Africa, "muti" and cognates of umuthi are in widespread use in most indigenous African languages as well as in South African English and Afrikaans, which sometimes use "muti" as a slang word for medicine in general, or even as a term for 'good luck'.
