Onward Music:
The label Onward Music was established in 2021 with a straightforward mission: to provide a platform for artists to showcase their exceptional music that might otherwise go unnoticed in the annals of history. In an era of rapid content consumption, quality music can easily be overlooked. However, Onward Music is determined to change that narrative and ensure that deserving artists receive the recognition they deserve.

The Onward Show is hosted by Jay Dubz every second and fourth Friday of the month on Bassdrive.com, 7-9PM UK Time, 1-3PM US Central Time. Expect fresh new music, classic cuts, awful banter and probably way too much talking.

Launched by Ruffhouse and Gremlinz in 2015, UVB-76 Music has established itself as a leader in the field of underground sonic art, releasing a markedly consistent series of 12” singles, EPs and LP's.

With an intimidating stable of key recording artists including Ruffhouse, Gremlinz, Pessimist, Holsten, Overlook, Outer Heaven, Karim Maas, Clarity and VEGA appearing at events worldwide, UVB-76 Music has articulated a cohesive original sound matched to a visual identity created and curated by artist James Hewitt.

The label continues to operate at the cusp of identification playing a line between Drum & Bass, Techno and an unidentifiable mid-way. As consistent as its namesake, echoing covert communications and unspoken espionage.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.
