Michael Haydn - Musician, Cancer Survivor, Unassuming Vineyard and Jaws Historian, and Long Time Vineyard Resident. If you've ever seen "Jaws," Michael is one of the first people you see in the movie. He's one of the first people you HEAR in the movie. The beginning scene...the campfire...just before the girl goes swimming and meets a terrifying end - there's a guy playing guitar around a campfire - That's Michael. here are some recollections of Michael's introduction to the Vineyard, his relationship with the Vineyard, and how he got to do what he loves - namely play music - in the beginning of a movie that terrified generations of beachgoers... The Vineyard Current - Segment from March 19th, 2017 - Michael Haydn

I'm a guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist with a varied career, including many years of jazz and classical guitar study, a two-year stint as lead guitarist in the 113th Army Band (Fort Knox, KY), study at Boston's Berklee College of Music and several decades of performances throughout Massachusetts. Along the way, I've performed in rock bands, and at folk clubs, accompanied singer/songwriters, taught piano, guitar, and drums, composed for live theater, and even enjoyed a cameo in the film 'Jaws.' These days I perform jazz classical, folk-jazz, folk-blues, bossa nova, and flamenco in a variety of venues and for special events. I would like to reach out to other areas now, in an effort to find mutual interests to my own.

I'm a songwriter, of sorts. Living in the North West of England. A small, Victorian seaside town called Southport. Like all town's, it has its good, it has its bad, this is a song called.... Sorry, i lost myself there, for a moment. 
I'm currently working on my 2nd &amp; 3rd long players. I'm not sure which will be finished first, but then again, who really cares?
