Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Polish dj & producer Olivia (Unsound / Pinkman).

Few DJs truly have a unique vision: a distinctive approach that draws on a myriad of interconnected styles to create a unified, otherworldly sound of its own. 
Olivia is one such DJ.
Initially best known for being one of the key resident DJs at the acclaimed annual Unsound festival that takes place in her home city, Krakow, Olivia has developed a trademark style that couples razor-sharp technical skills with an eclectic but interconnected approach to the raw, weighty and mind-altering music she mixes. 
Depending on the venue, event and vibe, Olivia might race through angular acid, loose-limbed electro, futuristic Motor City techno, concrete-clad industrial music, surging EBM, twisted Italo, glacial cold wave and metallic new wave.
This forward-thinking blend of 1980s-inspired styles and experimental dancefloor workouts has proved popular with peers and punters alike, leading to sets at such leading clubs and festivals as: Berghain, De School, Tresor, Golden Pudel, Dekmantel and Nachtdigital. 
Today, Olivia has her hands in many projects, collectives and live performance projects. 
These include Morskie Oko (a hybrid live/DJ project with Chino and Steffan Bennemann), Radiation 30376 (a live show with Chino that debuted at Unsound 2019) and Chrono Bross, a collaborative initiative with Kinzo Chrome.
Today we are thrilled to bring you her latest mix which is the perfect journey through her sound.

Damian is a Warsaw-born DJ who has been present on the scene for over a decade. He participated in several projects promoting drum & bass and techno in the capital. He likes to experiment with electronics. His sets are on the one hand deep, dark and hypnotic sounds, and on the other overdriven industrial. The style he presents is a selection of sublime techno, drum & bass and experimental sounds. He is also a listener of such music as: post punk, industrial rock, trip hop, dark jazz, grime, hip hop. Initiator of the original Broken Tape podcast mini series and Dark Logic mixes.

Eulogy, for a long time, he has been listening to electronic music in general and is fascinated by cinema-like massive soundtracks, especially the atmospheric pads in the background, and the way they are created still fascinates him today. His love for strange forgotten man-made structures and recurring rhythmic sounds led him almost without detours to the current sound, which has a very strong impact on sets and also productions of his. It is a hunt for the loss of time and somewhere also space. There is nothing that can be explored in seconds, his sound invites you to linger. Physical activity combined with brain-stimulating sounds and deep, rumbling baselines, is his main focus when creating sets and tracks. Rhythm is a driving force of the universe. Originally from Poland, Slope Unit has debuted over a decade ago in the infamous club [M]etro Club back in his hometown, Białystok. Record-digging together with dedication to the rhythm drew his attention towards the wider aspect of sonic experimentation which pushed him to start producing his own material. After a few years of relentless mixing in Warsaw, he was looking for a more suitable place to unfold his musical journey, and London turned out to be the location. Hardware synthesizers were suddenly overshadowed by eurorack's universe, what was recycled later on for his recently released EP's on Modular Underground and Totentanz Recordings. He is a part of the Based On Lies showcase together with his partner in crime - Joanna (T A K A) discovered back in 2016 by Dazed & Confused and endorsed by Revive Festival 2019. Now returning to DJing, Slope Unit constantly amazes us with the immense energy of his sets and his uncompromising selections, claiming that pushing musical boundaries is his call of duty.

Gary Holldman who has been active on the scene for over a decade as a producer and DJ. His first 12' items were released on RELAX2000 and Ware. In 2015, together with a friend, they set up International Day Off (@internationaldayoff) a thriving label (working with Jacek Sienkiewicz, Michal Wolski and Sebastian Mullaert, among others) that specializes in sound spaces bordering on minimal and hypnotic techno. Since 2017, he has been releasing regularly on the International Day Off catalog and other labels. His music has been featured and reviewed by Mixmag, XLR8R, Magnetic Magazine, Decode Magazin and his tracks, thanks to their diversity, gain support and find their way into the cases of artists such as Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, DVS1, Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann.

In 2023, together with Kuba Sojka and We Call It Voight-Kampff, they open Kantrasta Records (@kantrasta) which aims to create an intergenerational bridge in the techno scene. Gary Holldman is also a respected DJ, his music can be heard in many Polish clubs and at performances abroad, including in Paris, Tel Aviv and Bangkok.

Internal Observer produces cooler and deeper varieties of techno served in the form of digital, vinyl and live acts. Hypnotic deep techno, containing ambient and experimental structures - this is the hallmark of the artist from the city of Skierniewice, Poland. His work has been featured in the catalogs of many eminent labels: Accents Records, Neural Tapes, SYXT, Modular Mind, DVNTT, Crescent London.

He is the owner of Unknown Timeline Records (@unknowntimeline) focusing on Polish techno producers and co-owner of the Polish-German label Delayed Arrivals Records (@delayed_arrivals). He is the originator and curator of the ZATHRA project (@zathra-records), related to the promotion and development of audiovisual works by artists from his hometown of Skierniewice.

Traveling thousands of kilometers in the search of unobvious sounds can say a lot about love for the music... Ciacho is a DJ who has settled in the capital of Poland, a fan of vinyl records, an audiophile, and in the past a promoter and founder of the Minimal Planet project. His passion for heavy sounds is practiced by mixing dark discs in front of audience since his debut in 2006 in the legendary and non-existing now club in Warsaw - M25. Music, around which he oscillates, can be simply defined as a techno or get a little deeper and point out the sophisticated, raw, often surprising, deep, bass and hypnotic sounds from the catalogs of such labels as: Horo, Arts, Auxiliary, Grey Area, Samurai Music, Northern Electronics, Hypnus Records. He is distinguished by musical maturity, thoughtful selection, love for traditional forms of music mixing and long journeys to festivals and performances of adored artists.

"Most of you will probably notice that my recording is very different from the sets released so far in the FUTURA series. Keeping in mind the music of all sorts I've been exposed to during my more than 15-year adventure with vinyl, in this set, I wanted to show the evolution I've gone through in terms of owning records of the "broken" genre a little differently."
