As the rhythm section unfolds subtly, mandatory spoken word passages create a commanding vibe. Usual suspect Raul Mezcolanza  is in charge of the ''Never'' remix and go for a more stomping approach with quirky percussion and keeping the originals voices.Guille Placencia is in charge of ''On the Road'' stirs things up with a super tech bassline, energetic refills and  hypnotic percussions with delays

After a busy 2015 that’s taken in a debut Essential Mix, prominent remixes and a heavy international touring schedule – including a residency at Jamie Jones’ world-renowned A Planet Called Paradise at DC10 – Patrick Topping is back with his first original EP of the year. Released on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, ‘Rights’ reinforces Patrick’s already acclaimed production credentials.

Title track ‘Rights’ features a driving beat, a whispering vocal and crescending drums leading into a seriously grooving bassline and distinctive echoing synth patterns.

‘Tool On’ takes the pace up a notch with an aggressive beat underpinning futuristic electronic melodies, while the final track - percussion-led ‘Foxton’ - features skipping hi-hats and a funk-laden bassline for a guaranteed dancefloor groover.
 
With a US tour and plenty more dates across the UK, Argentina and Australia still to go this year, Patrick Topping is arguably one of the most in-demand upcoming young producers of his genre  - don’t miss out on this latest EP.

Joining the rising producer on the release is Hot Creations and Moda black artist Russ Yallop, a man that needs little introduction. Yallop provides his own interpretation of lead cut 'Cosmic'. Premiere: Latmun - Cosmic [Lost Records]

Nottingham’s Latmun arrives on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records with three energy fuelled house cuts, whilst Crosstown Rebel favourite Russ Yallop rounds out the EP on remix duties.

After an initial foray into production at the end of 2014, Latmun aka Joe Bradley’s sharp rise has garnered the attention and support of many including Lee Foss, Claptone, Darius Syrossian and Skream. The past year has seen the UK talent release on a host of distinguished labels such as VIVa (check out our premiere), El Row, Toolroom and Mar-T’s Wow! Recordings.

‘Cosmic’ kicks off the release with a selection of rumbling low end tones, stuttering vocal samples and reverberating sirens before our Debut Transmission today ‘Break it Down’ utilises engaging rhythm and evolving stabs to reveal a heady groove that’s packed full of swing. ‘Steez’ then utilises organic percussion and vocal whirrs to hold and maintain the attention of the floor, until Russ Yallop’s remix of ‘Cosmic’ reshapes the original, building on the crisp percussive elements and low-slung rhythms.
