The excellent UK based producer Andy Forbes makes his way back to our Progressive House Worldwide label and the PHW Elements division with a stunning 2 track EP. 

The release is a tribute to his dad that recently passed away and of course we would be more than honoured to bring his music out to the world about his process dealing with this during a tough time. This is his own words about the release:

“I started writing 1957 while my father was ill, which helped me remember all the amazing memories and how much of a happy spirit he was. Hopefully this reflects in the track with its happy melodies and uplifting breakdown.
Nirvana was created when my father had passed and it really helped me through the grieving process. The sounds are more down tempo as I wanted a more relaxing and peaceful sound, which helped me believe he has gone to a better place with no pain. The meaning of Nirvava is a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth.”

We also see both Mauro Masi and Reiklavik taking part in the release, rebuilding 1957 and contributing to the release and giving their vision on Andy Forbes original ideas. We absolutely love their remakes that just oozes class all over, don’t miss out!

Earlier this year, Anjunadeep welcomed Jon Gurd to the label with his first single ‘Together’, taken off of his album ‘Lion’, out now. 

After gaining support from Solomun, Stephan Bodzin, Ramon Tapia, Icarus, Matthias Meyer, Tinlicker, and many more, ’Together’ now receives the remix treatment from British compatriot Tom Demac. Renown for his smooth arrangements, Demac has remixed the likes of Tourist, Metronomy, Maribou State, Roisin Murphy, Edu Imbernon, James Welsh and BANKS. Here, Demac imparts his velvety sound design to Gurd’s powerful original, introducing a heavenly chord progression and classic house groove.  

Dedicated to his older brother, Jon Gurd’s ‘Lion’ is the culmination of his experiences as a brother and father; his encounters with loss, and his subsequent progression as an artist and human being. ‘Lion’ is out now.

Blue Harvest & Alex H are both long time servers through the progressive community and always been loved for their melodic and uplifting feel through their music. This time around they team up and collaborate and the superb outcome is now named as “Pillar Of Autumn”. With a warm and moody touch, well selected melodies and that warm textures bring another quality production between the two. We are of course thrilled to see them team up with us through Progressive House Worldwide and we are truly behind this beauty. 

On remix duty we first out see a producer joining back with us that has always been a favourite. Following his heart and melodic progressive creative style as Japan bound AKI Amano finally is back on the label. For those of you, following the label over the years knows everything about him and also knows he’s been a major player on the label. If you expect something truly dreamy, melodic and warm, then you are about to get yourself out on a journey as this is exactly what you will get from him. Akihito delivers in full flare as he always does and we couldn’t be happier than what we are. 

Also on remix duty, we see the return from Keith Harris, also a producer that we always held high and one that has been with us on many occasions. He also delivers a stunning piece of magic, packed with that melodic flow, tasty textures and all that smoothness that always deliver. Welcome back Keith, we do appreciate that you take the time to make your way back on the label!

Moscow bound producer Dave Shtorn is working his way back onto the scene after a lengthy break from it. We are of course truly happy and thrilled to see him back again, working on progressive music and choosing to send PHW Elements his music for release. 

Through “Winter Flowers” you will get an outstanding journey of sounds. He is building something really smooth and special as this is a fair trade of melodic elements and superb layering. We absolutely love everything about this original and we can’t do less than to recommend you to check this fantastic progressive journey out. 

On remix duty, long time friend of us, Canada based Lessov makes his way back to our ever growing PHW family. He’s one that we always held high as a producer as he always delivered in full flare and with his creativity flowing. This is another winner from him. Keeping the melodic flow from the original but building another groove through his remake. It’s so warm and driven and we are so delighted to see him back on the PHW Elements label. 

Last but not least we see a return on the label from Australia, Sydney based in fame rising producer Matt Rowan. He is a producer that we have always been a fan of. With his deeper textures, still with that melancholic and driven melodic layers, he surely is a match to the music that we so deeply are in love with on the label. This is no different to that as he has nailed it from start to finish once again.

Summer heat withers down into a colorful autumn as leaves lose their luster, but exhibit their final dazzling complexion the way fireworks illuminate the sky in climatic fashion. The compilation begins with soft lucid notes and progresses with emotive and sensual feelings. 

Marnix Meinster returns as the compilation kicks off with another splendid entry into the realm of sun-infused progressive. Balearic in nature, Meinster’s tempo adheres to a tropical groove while the summer sun melts into Autumn Colours.” Emod’s “Today and Tomorrow” reiterates what we do today shapes tomorrow. Lush beats, light, emotive grooves, and ethereal melodies . We welcome American producer, Staysis, who debuts with “Diametric,” a rhythmically bouncy progressive tune with arpeggiated chords. Blue Horizon returns to our imprint with an audible poem about the intimate relationship between “The Sun and the Wind.” Arps and pads add earthy melodic tones to the lead hook. Another returnee from Balearic Beach, Albert Klein, delivers “Somebody” to the deep house room. Late night grooves embellished by melodic motifs give this track flourishing qualities appetizing to after party club goers. L_DG has that magic musical intuition to convert any time of the year into a frollicking summer day. “Playa del Mar,” another balearic stunner, begins with alluring hooks that recede into a diaphanous breakdown, before soaking listeners with a blissful wave of turkish infused arps. Robert Jordan fans know that the Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. And this legend, then, becomes etched in the throbbing melodic basslines of Mark Digital’s electric interpretation of the destiny that summoned the Dragon Reborn. This release precedes the upcoming visual adaptation for TV on Amazon Prime later this year. The compilation concludes with Andrew GG’s “Spontaneity,” a galvanizing balearic progressive track with uplifting appeal and spontaneous grooves.

This is the 'From The Start' Remixes album, here on Enhanced Progressive!

UK DJ / Producer Farius brought out his debut album in May this year and it set the progressive trance world on fire, with his polished approach cementing him as the UK's most exciting trance artist. Coming in at fifteen tracks, 'From The Start' was a stellar first outing that saw Farius push the boundaries of the genre, finding a sweet spot between uplifting and hard-hitting. 

Now Enhanced Progressive brings you 'From The Start -  The Remixes' - eleven tantalising remixes of some of the album's highlight cuts. Opening with a pumping club mix of ambient album opener 'Initio' from Farius himself, we then dive into remixes from Boxer & Amy Wiles of 'Forever' and Sysdemes of 'Miami Love', who showcase opposite ends of the progressive house spectrum. We go on to feature a dubstep-influenced take on 'Stars' from HGHLND and Luke Anders, and some of the most exciting names in progressive trance put their mark on Farius' originals, including remixes from Myon, Sunny Lax and Andy Duguid, as well as newer acts like Zack Evans, Hausman, Joel Freck and Kanallia.
