Autumn slowly gives way to a colder time, a captivating transition in which nature metamorphoses with melancholy. The warm leaves that was dancing breeze gradually to form a crisp carpet beneath our feet. The days grow shorter, offering us longer starry nights. The wind blows more briskly, bringing a freshness to the trees that were once colorful and now stand naked in a delicate silhouette, ready to face the rigors of winter.

For this Episode 2, Ocoeur delivers us a powerfull message made of his own vision of celestial poetry. A contemplative journey to the depths of ourselves, where emotions and memories are our only guide. His highly cinematic universe is reminiscent of an expedition to unknown territories, where untouched nature reigns calmly. Expect some ethereal and soothing ambient perfecty crafted for a quiet time with your mind.

"Aphotic Ceremony" out on V.A "Slippery Slope". 🛶

We are proud to present our first collaboration tale, starting off this anthologic double CD storyline. 🌊

Aphotic Ceremony is an expedition in the unknown depths of our planet’s submarine wildlife, where undiscovered species await and roam free in pitch black atmospheres. The tone is set around the "Aphotic zone", which is the portion of a lake or ocean where there is little or no sunlight. In these obscure areas lay the oceanic depths beyond which less than 1 percent of sunlight penetrates. 

This is an ode to this mysterious ecosystem, where everything is slowed down and your movements are restricted by the overwhelmingly high pressure of deep waters, carefulness is key to finding your way back up safely. 🦑🌑

Thanks to @aderfi for allowing us to express yourself for the first time in this new adventure, and giving us the opportunity to open this new double CD chapter for Magus Nexus.

For me, techno was the spark that started it all when it comes to dance music. It's deeply connected to my love for partying. Coming back to it and playing it loud on the Alternative Stage of the Nexen Festival felt like the most natural thing. :) With this set, my goal was to take you through the sensations I deeply connect with : mental, hypnotic, psychedelic, deep and always groovy.
