This mix was inspired by grey skies, cold sunsets, and miles of bleak coastline.  As this is the first proper all-ambient mix I've done, there's a lot more ground to cover - but with a small sense of direction I culled some all-time favorites along with significant others to create this mood.

Mysteries Of The Deep XIX - DAVID SISKA | REFUGE IN THE COVE

Mysteries of the Deep is a New York-based record label, podcast, and event series — focused on ambient & experimental music in various forms. Mysteries — as fans lovingly call it — is concerned with exploration of unknown realms, and its focus, in addition to showcasing a dynamic spectrum of electronic music from foremost artists in the field, is to thoughtfully engage its audience. 

Conceptualized in 2011, Mysteries began as a podcast series that, now in its eleventh year, has hosted an array of mixes and original works. The project has since evolved, expanding into a curated global event series and record label.

Drox is an Australian  DJ, live act and producer recently relocated to the Gold Coast / Yugambeh.

His DJing style can be described as heavily influenced by electro, industrial and bass music. 

His sound embodies a spontaneous charm that nods to early 90s Detroit machine music, rich IDM sounds, and dystopian sci-fi tones.
