Located in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood the Transgender District aims to stabilize and economically empower the transgender community through ownership of homes, businesses, historic and cultural sites, and safe community spaces.

Jacob Meehan has deejayed & produced monthly dance events for the past decade.  He moved to Berlin in 2016, where he helps program Buttons & Whole Festival. In August, he relocated to Provincetown, MA where he connected with Mark Louque, starting their new twice-monthly radio show Nightshade, which airs on Cape Cod community radio station WOMR. This mix loosely weaves together some of Jacob’s findings from researching the first ten episodes of Nightshade, a floating introspective journey.

Eric grew up in southwest Florida in a very musical Baptist family. At an early age he discovered skateboarding, and this became his foundation and community for music, art and fashion. One thing led to another, and after playing various instruments in different bands in his early 20's he found himself tending bar at a club in London. It was there that he discovered contemporaries that allowed him to expand his ideas of music from acoustic to electronic.

Now in Brooklyn, he feels like he his surrounded by more talented people than ever before. He and his high-school buddy John Petro play together in a electronic-based project called Mariner.  He is inspired by people, ideas and endeavors that traverse the spectrum - those that cross through genre and subvert expectation.

Next up in our series is a producer with a singular take on electronic music, Gacha Bakradze is a creator with a unique sense of style and an abstract understanding of the wider context of electronic music. The sounds he creates are almost cinematic and over the years he has released an exceptional catalogue of music for the likes of Apollo, Lapsus, Transfigured Time, Fever AM and many more. 

Originating from Tbilisi he has helped pioneer a new wave of electronic musicians who have drawn upon inspiration from early IDM and electronica. Across a number of years his sound has evolved becoming more playful and abstract in terms of sound design and scale. It's all got bigger for Gacha Bakradze and we feel that he is a key representation of the forward thinking trajectory dance music has taken of late. 

This mix wanders between house, techno and electro in fine style.

Conceptualized in 2011, Mysteries began as a podcast series that, now in its eleventh year, has hosted an array of mixes and original works. The project has since evolved, expanding into a curated global event series and record label.
