((October 1, 2024)) I did the last few touchups to this MIDI besides actually adding in the train rattling, train whistle, steam hiss, and weird sweepy sound ((That's why the first 20 seconds are so uneventful)). And the timpani rolls, but whatever. That brings it up from the state it was in MARCH of 2022. Also, I originally sequenced it in MuseScore FOUR YEARS AGO ((2020)).

I was introduced to this song by stupidface. The kinda funny thing is, he always would delete his profiles, and then later on, I couldn't find the upload of Ghost Town on here that he'd Liked. I remember having to listen to an audio capture I did of it.

Happy anniversary to Mario & Luigi Brothership! This game means... so much to me. So much more than even the plethora of content I've made has probably let on. It is the first game that has resonated with me on a deeply personal level, especially in regards to Cozette/Zokket. The game came out during a _very dark_ time mentally, and has continued to be there for me as so much has continued to go wrong IRL.
...Also yup, this is the TRUE finale to the Brothership battle themes series. I had originally done a rough concept mashup for a Glohm Bowser theme, but not only did I not like it all that much after a while, but also I felt... forced. It admittedly wasn't something I wanted to do, like at all. But earlier this year, before my financial circumstances changed, I had an idea for a battle theme for ALL the Glohm bosses, not just Bowser. I hit up my main man Shade, who I've done business with SEVERAL times over these past three years for stuff not on this channel, and he knocked it out of the PARK. Black Knife from Deltarune Chapter 3 was deliberately listed as an inspiration for the track, and Shade really made it work while not feeling like a "clone," all while fitting really well with Brothership's established music stylings.
Not sure what music I'll do beyond this (my inspiration has been VERY spotty, especially due to certain changes IRL that have been hitting *really* damn hard,) but Brothership battle themes will not be among it going forward. Between this commission from Shade and all of the stuff that I did with Kristian's help, I've covered all of the spots in Brothership's OST that I considered to be weak points. Bowser's first encounter and the Corps fight both work just fine with the mid-boss theme, and nothing else sticks out to me in regards of "needing" a dedicated new track.
