Watching as the goat slips and trips over the ledge
But besides the bloody bones, there was nothing that remained
Oh…landing on a landslide, insects slip and slide

Wondering around in the land of the lost, watching as the highlander
Searches in vain, with a subtle psycho-pathetic black candor
He seemed to have lost something at great cost, so he slaughtered a lamb
And cutting up the cadaver, he took a shower in the falls

Wandering around in the wilderness, through the eyes of a necromancer
As he digs up the remains of a long-passed ancestor
Skull, spine and hips, thigh bones and ribs were all that remained
Landing on a landslide, like insects we slip and slide

He crushed up the bones and mixed them with the soil left of the flesh
And with his blood, and that of the lamb and of the mountain goat
He was flying full of fire, spitting sparks, ever higher
Spinning on the threshold of the heavenly desire

As he gazes out over the grasses 
The stars form a picture, his light begins to flicker

As he soars up over the tower
Poles, charged with power
And sparks like stars in showers
He moves inside you, hunting you down

Some of our art is made on computers, some of it is made by hand. We are particularly interested in that gray area in between where you cant really tell. All of what we create here is one work laid out in segments, all connected. The Mystic Tape Deck universe is vast and explores all manner of adding meaning to our lives, while pondering meaninglessness.

In the distant Subert Humlin, Gory Rallagher, Sank Frinatra, and Dats Fomino Galaxies, Her Majesty's Royal Intergalactic Empire is under siege by the sinister Khazargonians and their elite squads of shock troopers- the Jearl Pamians and Goundsardenians. Her Majesty has commissioned an elite force led by her three of Her Majesty's Space Navy's finest officers with several primary objectives, chief among them was the following directive: to combine the great tones of surf and fifties rock... with disco!
These elite officers are:  Admiral Krank of the SS Belgrade (Guitar, bass, beats, intergalactic espionage and assassination by exploding cigars); and Captain Mirth of the SS Zagreb- (Guitar, piano, synth, beats, and advanced thermal detonation). And our very own clockwork man on the drums, Mo Sheen (https://soundcloud.com/user-424452711).  Unfortunately, despite bravely serving Her Majesty's Space Navy, Vice Commandant Dubois has been court martialed and convicted for conduct not befitting an officer and counterfeiting baseball cards, stripped of his command of the SS Budapest, and dishonorably discharged from Her Majesty's Space Navy, though certain recordings of his guitar, synth, bass, beats, and forward deployable laser blasters remain here memorialized for posterity. Let it be known that though he has sunk to the very depths of ignominy, we wish him well in his new venture, the Spandex Spanktroverse.

I create seamless fusions of just about everything. All visceral, atmospheric and psychedelic with hidden depths upon closer inspection. The flow is also important. It exists on a continuum with micro-variations and subtle evolutions along the way.
The music can range from low down heavy darkness to softer and more positive, higher-vibrational new age. Yet even at it’s most crushing and industrial never succumbing to nihilism and instead feeling warm and inviting.
Very often humorous (in the form of deliberate cinematic pastiches), freaky and surreal. Inspired by dystopian sci-fi. Retro-futuristic.
I often wear my influences on my sleeve like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream but at my core I’m still self-referential with my sound. It operates at my own personal frequency.

started recording my improv songs on a tascam 4 track cassette recorder in 99'. I still write and record in my home on branch street as a passionate hobby ; ) thanks for listening <3
