In the time before time, the sky touched the earth when Zeus, cloaked in the form of a swan, descended to Leda and planted a divine seed. From this union were born twin sons — Castor, mortal and bound to the dust, and Pollux, immortal and glowing with the fire of the gods. Though one walked among men and the other shone with eternal light, their bond was unbreakable — two sons, one soul. Together they rode into glory, sailing with the Argonauts, facing war, wind, and wave as equals. But fate would not let them remain so; Castor, of the earth, fell in battle, his life claimed by time. In anguish, Pollux turned his eyes from Olympus and chose love over eternity, offering to share his immortality with his fallen brother. In the shadowed underworld, Castor stood before the three judges — Aeacus, Rhadamanthus, and Minos — and proved his soul’s worth not with might, but with truth. Moved by this sacrifice, Zeus and Hades made a divine pact: the brothers would share life and death, trading places between Olympus and the Field of Reeds. Though apart, they remained linked by rhythm and memory, until the gods, unable to deny their unity, placed them in the sky as the constellation Gemini — twin stars dancing forever in the firmament, guiding those who still believe in love that burns brighter than death.

5.) Sailing with the Argonauts

Castor, after death, descends to the Asphodel Meadows where he is judged by Aeacus, Rhadamanthus, and Minos — the three kings of the underworld. His truth, loyalty, and humility earn him a chance at reunion.
