Only original music is here.  As is proper for this genre, this playlist is curated to a significantly high minimum quality level.

Our entry in this list is slightly Fusionish, but the predominant parts and influence is old Jazz.  This shares characteristics of Jazz "standards" of years past, notably the presence of a "head" and a subsequent instrumental solo that significantly reflects the head, yet is true improvisation.  The majority of songs on this list are Modern Jazz.  In the photograph is one of history's very greatest Jazz musicians regardless of instrument:  John Coltrane.

This track, produced by the Musicus Project, is rearranged by me in the combo-jazz-classical style for my duo with Marie-Christine Tremblay: MCDC.  It stars Tim Morgan on piano;  Olivier Mallette on drums;  François Moisan on bass and me on guitar. Buch 5 von "Hinter uns das Land" schlägt ein neues Kapitel auf: Die Schrecken des Krieges liegen hinter den Protagonisten, doch die Narben sind tief. Diese Musiksammlung begleitet die Familie Feyerabend in der Nachkriegszeit, einer Zeit des Wiederaufbaus, der Hoffnung und des langsamen Heilens.
