I'm just a guy who has music embedded in his brain, so I'm just gonna think about the notes and let my voice do the work.

Ad professional turned full-time artist, songwriter, speaker and content creator, TAMISH quit her job in 2012 to pursue her purpose full-time, which is to use her voice and experience to empower others (especially women, people of color, and millennials).

In an urban music industry that can be pretty vulgar at times, TAMISH works to share music that will empower women (and guys as well), and also feels good. “I’m an 80s baby. The music that I grew up listening to on the radio in the 90s and early 2000s had a bit more diversity. I, and many that I know would love to see that happen again.”

Since taking the leap, TAMISH has had the chance to perform her original music on FOX 32 Morning News (Good Day Chicago), open up for several major artists, including: 11x Grammy award-winning artist and songwriter, Babyface, Kelly Price, Slick Rick and MC Lyte, provide backing vocals for Mariah Carey, Slick Rick, Charlie Wilson and T.I. on Showtime at the Apollo, Andra Day on BET’s Black Girls Rock, Diego Torres on Univision’s Copa de America Centenario Draw, tour in Europe, and perform at various festivals and events across the US, with no signs of slowing down.

TAMISH released her Debut EP in October 2017, which can be found on all digital outlets and streaming platforms.
