a field recording of my performance from our event back in august last year. thank you to trijeet for hosting, to all the other amazing talented performers, and to everyone who made the event so beautiful :) and to the birds and clouds that added so much to the music º<(~.~)>º

performance might entail: water, the
space in between, dj using the mic,
original and found tracks woven together
with generous dissonance, harmony,
invocations for liberation of all beings

that this is, was, and always will be Ohlone land, that the land can be and will be free again, that rematriation is possible and happening. how can we remember this as often as we touch the earth? in what ways can we be a part of this motion?

imagine a world with a free Palestine. what would be different? how do we get there? in what ways are we already in motion towards that reality? how do we build a free Palestine into our lives so that our wish blossoms in our lifetimes?

ice can end. oppressive xenophobia, racism, misogyny, settler violence, exploitation, extraction.. it can all end. amerikkka can end. the United States of America can end. every day that passes is a day closer to the end of empire. how can we look without turning away? how can we understand what it means for an idea to end? and what ideas grow in fallow fields?

trans healthcare is medical care. either you want trans people to exist or you don’t. please consider deeply the implications of your choices.

in which direction do you choose to weave the thread of this moment? what are you praying for today? what do you wish for? what do you breathe for?
