Here at Warm Up we continue in our search of valuable artists around the globe, and we have found Oliver Rosemann in this quest. Not every techno artist is capable of developing an album with sense and knowledge, Oliver is. He has been providing quality techno tracks for a long while from his homebase in Leipzig, with a particular sense of groove and rhythm and a recognisable and heavily worked sound design skills.

This is his third long player after They call them millions on DIffuse Reality Records from 2016 and The Architect in Konsequent Records in 2020.



During twelve cuts he travels through various aspects of electronic music, from the beatles and texturized Raid and Whisperers, to the continuous adrenaline shown on Wanderers or The Profit and the Loss, both  in the best metallic Birmingham tradition, the mental travel sweeps and pads in Crossings or the scifi approach of Empire and The Vision.

The Lost Moment and Legion go back to minimalistic and metallic repetition while Rage is made to test your resistance near asound system while dancing, a merciless weapon for the peak hours. 

Foreign Coasts return to sci fi moods but focusing more in asymmetry than bleep action.

Closing the release Scarred returns to arhythmic landscapes and relaxation after the gymnastic workout.

Atemporal techno made to last, carefully crafted, intelligently arranged and sonically excellent.

Oracle is our brand mini compilation, featuring the cream of the crop of worldwide techno producers, from Spain and Portugal to North America going through Kosovo.

First cut is Mareo by all time veteran and synth expert Groof (@roberto-gemelin-353716488), he delivers a Birmingham Esque gymnastic exercise for the brave dancers in the proper clubs. 

Following @Hd-Substance, another well seasoned veteran. On Beats & Pieces 21 all is about funk and groove, a classy techno exercise.

@Vegim goes profound and obscure in Same Time, Same Place, dirty and crude, with the proper dose of hypnosis and tension.

@Plural signs Mech Dreams, old school flavor, distorted sequences and loads of electric funk.

@Hector-Mad opts for the breaks as rhythm foundation with Voices From Mount Parnassus delivered in a long and progressive arrangement ideal to inject some soul to linear techno sets.

Last but not least, @STNDRD3333 provides Libido, a metallic industrial infused cut with everything needed to destroy any sound system out there.

A well balanced collection of many techno styles all united under our flag.

Blank Code is Detroit, USA outfit that have released music by artists like Bas Mooy, Drumcell, Mike Parker, Audio Injection / Truncate and many more.

The Blank Code co-founder Anthony Jimenez has also released on Mike Derer's Northern Parallels and Detroit Underground, while he has performed alongside Regis, Silent Servant and Developer. "Insurgent" is a spacey and tubular trip with warping acid and intense alarm-like, looping tones. The robotic vocal hit adds an unexpected twist with chanting sensation to this dance floor devastator.

Brian Sanhaji is a veteran producer and engineer in Berlin who returns to Blank Code, as well as having appeared on Chris Liebing's CLR, Heiko Laux's Kanzleramt, Droid Records and running the SENSOR and EgoTon labels. "Phasis" is a modular ride of freaky frequencies and crunching percussion. Bursting with energy and raw power, it showcases his fine analogue production with a sliver of experimentation.

Linear System is a Spanish artist who has released music on esteemed labels like Edit Select, Ben Sims' Symbolism and Dynamic Reflection. "Shape Shifter" is a brooding juggernaut made of raw tension that culminates in pounding, crushed drums as its main focus. Heavy and hypnotic it draws attention with its apocalyptic menace, but its ultimately a sharpened, underground club weapon.

Mexico's Luis Flores is another seasoned beat-maker who has released on Blank Code previously and also lists Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Emmauel's ARTS and Truncate's imprint. "Man Vs Nature" begins with a shuffling kick and swelling sub bass, followed by sci-fi bleeps and abstract sound effects. Almost cinematic overall, the scything synth creates a dystopian feeling of intimidating electronic growls.

San Francisco's Max Gardner has over a decade of releases and is the co-owner of Peer Audio. He has also appeared on Northern Parallels, Oktave as well as remixing Drumcell and Truncate. "Delamination" has a deep and jackin' stance from the word go, while its vitality increases from the sputtering hi-hats and fizzing touches. Steady, muted claps add even more vigour and the metallic stabs create a haunting, emotional experience.

Takaaki Itoh is one of Japan's most prominent techno artists who has released on Bas Mooy's Mord, Adriana Lopez's Grey Report, Developer's Modularz and Lewis Fautzi's Faut Section to name only a few. "Vital Blind" uses its quirky, stuttering hits to shape a spine of thumping percussion. Pulsing, modular-fuelled accents and electronic signals frame the sonic airwaves while being guided by a grungy, throbbing bassline.

Slam presents a brand new series of carefully curated VA’s on home label Soma.

Aimed at showcasing exciting, emerging artists "Exhibit" aims to channel techno's fundamental frequencies as Slam seek out the rawer, deeper end of the spectrum with selected artists, focussing on the deeper and hypnotic sound of techno.

Packing in 8 tracks across this first release, Slam open with title track ‘Exhibit 1’ a deep, sub heavy and electrifying roller. Newcomers Mist Gasp are up next with the suitably trippy Final Return followed by the pairing of Confluence & Von Tee Rah who pack in a lot of attitude with Unit 1. Brazilian producer Marcal steps up with the groove laden Tombstone, quickly followed by the fast paced yet minimalistic and melodic Roses 101 from James Bong. Berlin based producer Denise Rabe treads a darker path with the driving Walking On Borders before another Berlin based pairing of Angioma & BLANKA serve up the crafty Tricky Sunday. Closing out the release is Glasgow based producer Tremor who has been making waves in his home city with his on point, minimal sound and his track, A Moment, sums ups his style perfectly.
