Gebührendes Abschieds-Abriss-Set für mein geliebtes @menschmeier_berlin. Es ist so traurig, dass alle nicht-komerziellen subkulturellen Unterschlüpfe von uns dahinschwinden, die sowas Gutes wie eine queer-feministische Partyreihe wie die Juicy ermöglichen. Trotzdem: wir hatten unvergessliche Zeiten, Nächte, Tage & dafür sage ich danke. <3

Another year has gone by in the blink of an eye and we couldn't be more grateful for all your support, amazing contributions to our podcast series and for the incredibe releases of befriended artists! In order to wrap this year's podcast series up in style, we invited a true gem of Germany's electronic music scene to take over December's episode and provide you with fresh energy to slide into the new year: Sarah Wild.

Once an infamous host for underground raves in Berlin, Sarah Wild is now a DJ and producer talent from Berlin. Her energetic sets oscillate between acid basslines and piano elements. Sarah has already released on Permanent Vacations, Feines Tier and her own label Midnight Operators.

When she was a girl her father took her on tour with his surf-rock band. She grew up hanging out in backstages of clubs and venues all around Europe. Not only through this first touring experience Sarah was always surrounded by music. She learned saxophone and piano supported by her grandmother who is also a singing teacher. All her youth Sarah played in bands and was part of several jazz projects. Also her passion for electronic dance music developed at this time. Sarah was born and raised in Jena, a former east-German city who became popular for its delicate scene of electronic music. She quickly became part of it as a dancer and also started her first little projects as an artist. Sarah Wild started her solo project in 2016 and has been touring in Europe, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and the USA.

We say thank you to Sarah for this awesome podcast and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. With excitement, we are looking forward to 2024, which will mark the 5th anniversary of our label.

It seems to be my eternal curse that something always goes wrong with the recordings of my Sisy sets. This time the memory card was full after 2 hours (because I recorded in "too high a quality"), so the last 43 minutes only exist in raver's memories.

The first 2 hours of the Bladehouse takeover at Süpdol Hamburg 23.03.2024. Mixed and compiled live by Linus Duewer and Hans Hammer, who slowly brought the floor up to maximum temperature.

Nach einer scheinbar endlosen Pause, starten wir ab sofort wieder mit unserer heiß geliebten Podcast-Reihe!

Und wer wäre für die erste Abfahrt besser geeignet als der techno-infusierte Coco.

In Berlin treibt er sich nicht nur seit geraumer Zeit als DJ in Clubs wie Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Salon zur Wilden Renate und dem Goldengate rum (um nur einen Bruchteil zu nennen), sondern feiert und organisiert seit nunmehr 21 Jahren seine berühmt-berüchtigte und Underground-orientierte, 36 Stunden Partyreihe „Betriebsfeier“ auf der Berliner Hoppetosse und ist zudem Mitbegründer des Rote Dichte Festivals.

Er selber beschreibt seine Musik als „mental, minimal, groovy, tief und treibend“, angesiedelt „zwischen House und Techno plus Ausuferungen“ und liebt es, Musik zu machen, damit „idealerweise ein friedlicher, magischer Moment entsteht, der uns befreit, an nichts denken, sondern nur gemeinsam fühlen lässt“.

Auch als Produzenten kennt man Coco. 
Zuletzt erschienen ist sein Release „Die Tuer“ auf „as usual music“.

Und welche Themen ihn als Mensch gerade besonders beschäftigen?:
„Wege finden: Vom Individualtourismus zurück zur Gruppenreise.“
