BIO Maceo Plex

Maceo Plex is an expert in deep house and electro. He has been working the circuit since 2001 and over the past ten years he has gone from a simple DJ to a high quality performer. He has an unteachable high proficiency when it comes to music and mixing live which has seen his reputation flourish on the circuit amongst fans and critics.

He is now highly recommended so every crowd seems to be getting bigger and bigger especially when he stops off at the likes of the Parklife and Ultra Music Festival. The tents get packed to the rafters and everybody shares the mentality that they are there to have one hell of a party. For over an hour Maceo provides the soundtrack with original mixes worked within remixes for the likes of Röyksopp and more. The crowd does not stand still for a second and the roars echo around the tent as real celebration of this talented DJ.

"As we bid farewell to summer and enter the fall transition, I envisioned making it a little more pleasant for all of us and boost the energy around. The mix includes both fresh gems and timeless favorites of mine. Swirling around melodic techno with indie, groovy but dark, highly energetic punch.  
In fact, not only has weather changed, but so have many other things, including the tone and rhythm of the set. Perhaps one of you is more adaptable to change than the other. Anna Maura was born in Manaus and is 23 years old. She crossed the country and today plays on the dance floors of the capital of São Paulo, always looking for striking melodies, involving sounds and with a lot of groove, leaving the atmosphere dancing and with her face. From Progressive House to Techno, she draws inspiration from artists like Fuenka, Q.U.A.K.E, Jordan Gil and Anna. She played at events such as Moving Dedge, Spot Bar, Mind The Gap, Ticunna Fest, Club 33 and Lagoon, as well as having sets released by Cultura Cosmo, Melodic Eye and Melodic State. In her resume, Anna also has projects such as Be One Br, Pulse-T Presents and Techno Junino. Active in the scene, she is the founder of Label Pulse T-Records and is a presence in the curatorship of Technera Memes events, where she was also part of the foundation. Next up on the Mousai Mix Series, I introduce you to @amaretechno from Brussels, Belgium. 

Born with the rhythm in her veins, her parents sent her to ballet school as a toddler. From that day, she has been dancing every day of her life. First to classical music, later to jazz, rock ‘n roll, and as a teenager, she discovered electronic music.

Having studied the whole range of human sciences, Amare knows what people need – which makes her an excellent crowd reader and music selector. Being well-traveled, she was influenced by different cultures and music genres, which you can hear in her music selection. Amare's sound is best described as deep, melodic, sensuous, sassy, with an exotic hint, and a joyful touch. Music is her medium to spread love and connect people. ‘Amare’ is a Latin verb, ‘to love’, an active name that describes her striking energy with which she impresses the crowd everywhere she goes.

Time moves in cycles and the past keeps on reinventing itself. Naethan is the musical reincarnation of a Belgian/Greek artist with more than a decade of experience.

2019 marked the year that he returned to his first love: emotional and ethereal melodic music. His debut release as Naethan on Nico Morano’s Atmosphere Records was already heavily supported by Eelke Kleijn, Jonas Saalbach and many others followed up by a series of strong releases on Sincopat, Nightcolours and his own label ‘Kanvas’, which found their way into the playlists of Solomun, Sasha, Toto Chiavetta, Aera, Marc Depulse and Maxim Lany just to name a few.

Fast forward to now, the versatile music obsessive has come good, constructing his own philosophy on the dancefloor whilst being booked at major events like Pukkelpop, We Can Dance, Garnizoen, Tomorrowland and many more.
